कानून की सुसंगत धाराओं के तहत कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी: सीएम धामी

पौड़ी जिलाधिकारी स्वाति भदौरिया और एसएसपी लोकेश्वर सिंह ने आज मृतक जितेंद्र कुमार के परिजनों से मिलकर उनको मामले में अब तक हुई कार्रवाई से अवगत कराया।

इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी परिजनों से फोन पर बातचीत कर गहरा दुःख व्यक्त किया और शोक संवेदनाएँ प्रकट करते हुए दिवंगत की आत्मा की शांति की प्रार्थना की।

मुख्यमंत्री ने परिजनों को भरोसा दिलाया कि मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच सुनिश्चित की जाएगी और दोषियों के खिलाफ कानून की सुसंगत धाराओं के तहत कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने पुलिस को मामले की गहन और तत्परता से जांच के निर्देश दिए।

ज्ञात हो कि पौड़ी कोतवाली क्षेत्र में युवक जितेंद्र कुमार ने आत्महत्या कर ली थी। आत्महत्या से पूर्व, उसने सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो जारी कर कुछ व्यक्तियों पर रुपये ठगने का आरोप लगाया था। पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी हिमांशु चमोली सहित पांच लोगों को देहरादून से गिरफ्तार किया है।
