भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच बॉर्डर-गावस्कर ट्रॉफी का पहला टेस्ट मुकाबला 22 नवंबर से शुरू हो रहा है। दोनों टीमों के बीच सीरीज का पहला टेस्ट मैच पर्थ में खेला जाएगा। टीम इंडिया के लिए मुश्किल की बात ये कि नियमित कप्तान रोहित शर्मा पहला टेस्ट मैच नहीं खेलेंगे और शुभमन गिल का अंगूठा भी फ्रैक्चर है।
ऐसे में टीम कप्तानी जसप्रीत बुमराह के हाथों में होगी। भारतीय टीम में रोहित और शुभमन के नहीं होने पर विराट कोहली, ऋषभ पंत, केएल राहुल पर दारोमदार होगा। इस टीम में कई नए सितारे भी पहली बार ऑट्रेलिया में टेस्ट खेलते दिखाई देंगे। यशस्वी जयस्वाल, धुर्व जुरेल, नितीश कुमार रेड्डी, रजत पाटीदार जैसे खिलाड़ियों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखानी होगी।
बता दें कि 2020-21 में भारत ने चार मैचों की सीरीड 2-1 से जीती थी। खिलाड़ियों की चोटों से परेशान भारतीय टीम एडीलेड में अपने न्यूनतम स्कोर 36 रन पर आउट हो गई थी। इसके बाद मेलबर्न और ब्रिसबेन में टीम को नया नायक ऋषभ पंत के रूप में मिला जबकि पुजारा और रविचंद्रन अश्विन ने भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। अपने पहले बच्चे के जन्म के लिए कोहली के भारत लौटने के बाद अजिंक्य रहाणे ने शानदार कप्तानी करते हुए जीत दिलाई थी।
इस बार भी टीम पूरी तरह एक बार फिर तैयार है और सीरीज के पहले मुकाबले के लिए टीम इंडिया की जबरदस्त तैयारी जारी है। ऐसे में कंगारू टीम के लिए पर्थ की पहली टक्कर बिल्कुल भी आसान नहीं रहने वाली है।
