देहरादून, 2 अगस्त। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल और टिहरी विधायक किशोर उपाध्याय ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस दौरान टिहरी जनपद में मेडिकल कॉलेज की स्थापना और स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के सुदृढ़ीकरण को लेकर विस्तृत चर्चा हुई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि टिहरी जैसे भौगोलिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण जनपद में मेडिकल कॉलेज की स्थापना से स्थानीय लोगों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं मिलेंगी और गढ़वाल मंडल के चिकित्सा ढांचे को भी मजबूती मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार जनभावनाओं और क्षेत्रीय आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप इस दिशा में सकारात्मक एवं ठोस कदम उठाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का विस्तार औरछ आधुनिकीकरण सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल है। दूरस्थ और पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों तक विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकीय सेवाएं पहुंचाने, चिकित्सा अवसंरचना विकसित करने, मेडिकल एवं नर्सिंग शिक्षा का विस्तार करने तथा आधुनिक उपकरणों से स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों को सुसज्जित करने के लिए लगातार कार्य किए जा रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में उत्तराखंड के स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय बदलाव आए हैं। आयुष्मान भारत योजना, हेल्थ एंड वेलनेस सेंटर, टेलीमेडिसिन सेवाओं के विस्तार और मेडिकल शिक्षा संस्थानों की संख्या बढ़ने से आम नागरिकों को बेहतर एवं सुलभ चिकित्सा सुविधाएं मिल रही हैं।
बैठक में स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने टिहरी की स्वास्थ्य आवश्यकताओं और मेडिकल कॉलेज स्थापना से जुड़े प्रस्तावों की जानकारी दी। विधायक किशोर उपाध्याय ने भी मेडिकल कॉलेज को क्षेत्र की दीर्घकालिक आवश्यकता बताते हुए जनभावनाओं से मुख्यमंत्री को अवगत कराया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने दोनों जनप्रतिनिधियों के सुझावों पर सकारात्मक विचार का आश्वासन देते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य तंत्र को अधिक मजबूत, आधुनिक और जनोन्मुख बनाने के लिए सरकार प्राथमिकता के आधार पर आवश्यक कदम उठाती रहेगी।
