मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कंजाबाग तिराहा खटीमा में मुख्यमंत्री घोषणा के अंतर्गत कार्यदायी संस्था लघु सिंचाई विभाग द्वारा 47.42 लाख की लागत से स्थापित किए गए 215 फीट ऊँचे राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का विधिवत पूजा अर्चना कर फीता काटकर व ध्वजारोहण कर लोकार्पण किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह राष्ट्रीय ध्वज केवल एक प्रतीक नहीं, बल्कि हमारे देश की एकता, अखंडता और शौर्य का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह ध्वज यहां खड़ा होगा और हर नागरिक को देशभक्ति की भावना से प्रेरित करेगा।
इस अवसर पर लघु सिंचाई विभाग द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री किसान ऊर्जा सुरक्षा एवं उत्थान महाभियान (पीएम कुसुम) योजना के व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार हेतु सोलर प्रदर्शनी भी लगाकर किसानों व जनता को योजना की विस्तृत जानकारियां भी दी गई।
