देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने त्योहारी सीजन से ठीक पहले उत्तराखंड के बर्फीले क्षेत्र मे रहने वाले लोगों को एक बड़ी राहत देते हुए घरेलू बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को बिजली की दरों में 50% छूट देने का ऐलान किया है।
कुछ दिन पहले ही मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इसकी घोषणा की थी और अब ऊर्जा सचिव डॉक्टर आर मीनाक्षी सुंदरम ने उत्तराखंड पावर कारपोरेशन को इसका आदेश निर्गत किया है।
अपने आदेश में शासन ने लिखा है कि 200 यूनिट तक बिजली उपभोग करने वाले हिमाच्छादित क्षेत्र वाले उपभोक्ताओं को बिजली की दरों पर 50% सब्सिडी दी जाएगी।
वहीं अन्य एक किलो वाट के संयोजन वाले उपभोक्ताओं को भी 100 यूनिट तक बिजली खपत करने पर 50% की छूट दी जाएगी।
यह छूट ऊर्जा विभाग में कार्यरत सेवानिवृत्त या सेवारत कार्मिकों को दिए गए विद्युत संयोजनों पर लागू नहीं होगी। इसके साथ ही सरकार यह भी सुनिश्चित करेगी कि कोई इस छूट के लिए अपना मीटर लोड अनावश्यक ना घटाएं अथवा एक विद्युत कनेक्शन को अलग-अलग विद्युत कनेक्शन में ना बांटे। यह दरें 1 सितंबर से उपभोग की गई बिजली पर लागू होगी। केदारनाथ उपचुनाव को देखते हुए यह आदेश एक बड़ा निर्णय है।
