तीनों लोक में सर्वश्रेष्ठ पुरुष थे मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम रामचंद्र भगवान जी यह बात चंबा में आयोजित रामलीला के उद्घाटन के अवसर पर जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी टिहरी गढ़वाल के अध्यक्ष राकेश राणा ने कहीं। उन्होंने कहा सम्मान और न्याय परायण , वही पुरुषोत्तम का अर्थ होता है व्यक्तित्व और सम्मान में सर्वोच्च श्रीराम ने कभी भी अपनी मर्यादाओं का उल्लंघन नहीं किया था , इसलिए वे मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम श्री राम कहलाए।
राम ने जीवन में कभी मर्यादा का उल्लघंन नहीं किया. इसीलिए वो मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम कहलाए. माता-पिता और गुरू की आज्ञा का पालन करते हुए ‘क्यों’ शब्द कभी उनके मुख पर नहीं आया। भगवान राम के आदर्श जीवन से प्रेरणा लेकर आप भी अपना जीवन सुधार सकते हैं.न्याय मार्ग में स्थित, सीमा, नीति का बंधन, निश्चित प्रथा या व्यवस्थित नियम न्याय मार्ग में स्थिति धर्म-मर्यादा है।
मनुष्य के कर्तव्य कर्म अनेक हैं, परंतु उनकी अपनी सीमा होती हैं, जिनका उल्लंघन न करते हुए एक आदर्श जीवन बिताना ही मर्यादा पालन करना है। इसलिए हम सबको अपने जीवन में अपने बच्चों के जीवन में मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम रामचंद्र जी के आचरण को लाना होगा तभी हमारा समाज सर्वश्रेष्ठ बनेगा
