देहरादून। पितरो की आत्म शांति के लिए पितृ पक्ष मंगलवार यानि आज से शुरू हो गए हैं। यह पक्ष 2 अक्टूबर 2024 तक चलेगा। इस दौरान लोग श्रद्धा भक्ति के साथ अपने पितरों की आत्मा की शांति के लिए तर्पण, श्राद्ध, पिंडदान और अन्य अनुष्ठान करेंगे।
श्राद्धपक्ष शुरू होते ही ऋषिकेश के विश्व प्रसिद्ध गंगा घाट त्रिवेणी मे विभिन्न राज्यों के कई श्रद्धालुओं आवागमन शुरू हो गया है। अपने पितरो का तर्पण, श्राद्ध करने के लिए सुबह से ही लोग गंगा तट पर पहुंचने लगे हैं। जंहा पुरोहितो और पंडितों से विधि विधान से पूर्वजों का श्राद्ध करवाया जा रहा है, आने वाले 2 अक्टूबर तक लोग अपने पितरो को गंगा घाट पर पिंडदान,तर्पण आदि देंगे।
बता दें कि हिंदू धर्म में पितृ पक्ष या श्राद्ध पक्ष को महत्वपूर्ण माना गया है। मान्यता है कि पितृ पक्ष में किए श्राद्ध कर्म से पितर तृप्त होते हैं और पितरों का ऋण उतरता है।
