मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड राज्य बड़े फिल्म शूटिंग डेस्टीनेशन के तौर पर उभर रहा है। देशभर से फिल्म निर्माता उत्तराखंड के प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य को देखकर राज्य में फिल्म शूटिंग के लिए आ रहें हैं। यहां फिल्मांकन की संभावनाओं को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार, इस दिशा में लगातार आगे बढ़ रही है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा उत्तराखण्ड की नई फिल्म नीति, राज्य में फिल्मों को बढ़ावा दे रही है। बॉलीवुड के साथ ही स्थानीय बोली भाषाओं पर आधारित फिल्मों को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। देवभूमि में आने वाला हर कोई यहां का बेहतर अनुभव लेकर जा रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में उत्तराखण्ड फिल्म नीति-2024 बनाई गई है। हिन्दी एवं संविधान की 8वीं अनुसूची में शामिल भाषाओं की फिल्मों को अनुदान राशि राज्य में व्यय कुल धनराशि का 30 प्रतिशत या अधिकतम 03 करोड़ का अनुदान दिया जा रहा है। विदेशी फिल्मों और 50 करोड़ से अधिक बजट की फिल्मों पर राज्य में व्यय राशि का 30 प्रतिशत या अधिकतम 03 करोड़ तक का अनुदान दिया जा रहा है।
