राज्यपाल ने टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाले लोगों को किया सम्मानित

देहरादून: राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने मंगलवार को राजभवन में राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन, उत्तराखण्ड द्वारा आयोजित ‘‘टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान’’ के अंतर्गत पुरस्कार समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने टीबी रोगियों को गोद लेकर नियमित निगरानी और मानसिक संबल प्रदान कर रोगियों के स्वस्थ होने में मदद करने वाले 13 निःक्षय मित्रों को सम्मानित किया।

वहीं उन्होंने 13 ट्रीटमेंट सपोटर्स को भी स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया, जिन्होंने जमीनी स्तर पर कार्य कर, रोगियों के उपचार की नियमित मॉनिटरिंग और उनकी समुचित देखभाल की। *(सूची संलग्न)* इस दौरान राज्यपाल ने टीबी उन्मूलन की दिशा में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले जनपदों देहरादून, चम्पावत और रुद्रप्रयाग को भी सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने टीबी रोग से स्वस्थ हुए ‘टीबी चैंपियनों‘‘ को भी सम्मानित किया और गोद लिए गए टीबी मरीजों को पोषण किट प्रदान की।

राज्यपाल ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि टीबी उन्मूलन केवल सरकारी प्रयासों से संभव नहीं है, बल्कि इसके लिए जनभागीदारी और सामूहिक संकल्प आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि टीबी से स्वस्थ हुए लोग असली योद्धा हैं और समाज के लिए प्रेरणा बन सकते हैं। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने टीबी उन्मूलन के क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहे सभी लोगों, स्वयं सेवी संस्थाओं और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के प्रयासों की सराहना की और कहा कि इन सभी लोगों की मेहनत से हमारा प्रदेश अग्रणी राज्यों में है।

राज्यपाल ने बताया कि उन्हें भी निःक्षय मित्र बनने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ है, और अब तक उन्होंने 75 टीबी रोगियों को गोद लिया है, जिनमें से 62 मरीज पूरी तरह स्वस्थ हो चुके हैं। उन्होंने समाज के सामर्थ्यवान व्यक्तियों से अपील की कि वे भी आगे आकर निःक्षय मित्र बनें और इस अभियान को गति दें। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग से आग्रह किया कि जानकारी के अभाव में कोई भी रोगी उपचार से वंचित न रहे।

यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि अभियान अंतिम छोर तक पहुंचे और प्रत्येक रोगी को समुचित देखभाल एवं उपचार मिल सके। राज्यपाल ने आशा व्यक्त की कि सभी के सम्मिलित प्रयासों से प्रदेश को 2025 में टीबी मुक्त बनाने में सफल होंगे।

इस अवसर पर स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि हमारा लक्ष्य है कि 2025 तक उत्तराखण्ड को पूरी तरह से टीबी मुक्त बनाना और इस राष्ट्रीय प्रयास में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाना है। हम इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं और इसके लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि टीबी मुक्त अभियान को 01 अगस्त, 2025 से राज्य भर में एक व्यापक अभियान शुरू किया जाएगा।

इस अभियान के तहत सभी नगर पंचायतों के वार्डों और नगर निगमों के सभी पार्षद वार्डों में विशेष शिविर (कैंप) लगाए जाएंगे। इन शिविरों का उद्देश्य समुदाय स्तर पर टीबी के मामलों की पहचान करना, उनका उपचार सुनिश्चित करना और जागरूकता फैलाना होगा।

इस कार्यक्रम में सचिव श्री राज्यपाल श्री रविनाथ रामन, सचिव स्वास्थ्य डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार, अपर सचिव श्री राज्यपाल श्रीमती रीना जोशी, महानिदेशक स्वास्थ्य डॉ. सुनीता टम्टा, निदेशक चिकित्सा शिक्षा डॉ. आशुतोष सयाना, चेयरमैन रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी डॉ. नरेश चौधरी सहित स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी व मेडिकल कॉलेज के छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद रहें।
