मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास देहरादून से कुशीनगर जनपद में भगवान सूर्य की मूर्ति के जलाभिषेक के लिए कलश यात्रा का फ्लैग ऑफ किया।
कुशीनगर में सूर्य की मूर्ति के जलाभिषेक के लिए देश से लगभग 151 पवित्र नदियों का जल एकत्र किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की पवित्र नदियों से एकत्रित जल की कलश यात्रा को मुख्यमंत्रीने रवाना किया।
इस दौरान महामंडलेश्वर श्री 1008 डॉक्टर स्वामी श्री संतोषानंद देव जी महाराज, पूर्वांचल महोत्सव समिति के अध्यक्ष विनय राय और समिति के सदस्यों मौजूद रहे।
