जिलाधिकारी ने जिला महिला चिकित्सालय से किया विशेष टीकाकरण अभियान की शुरुआत

उत्तरकाशी, 21 जुलाई 2025: जिले में खसरा और रूबेला जैसी गंभीर बीमारियों का उन्मूलन कर बच्चों को इन जानलेवा संक्रमणों से बचाव के लिए जनपद अस्पताल से खसरा रुबेला का टीकाकरण अभियान शुरू किया गया।

जिलाधिकारी प्रशांत आर्य ने खसरा-रूबेला (Measles-Rubella – MR) उन्मूलन के इस आभियान का शुभारंभ जिला महिला अस्पताल पहुंच कर विधिवत रूप से किया।

जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि “खसरा और रूबेला दोनों ही संक्रामक बीमारियाँ हैं जो बच्चों में गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं का कारण बन सकती हैं, इस अभियान के माध्यम से यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सकता है कि जिले का हर बच्चा इन बीमारियों से सुरक्षित रहे और उसे स्वस्थ भविष्य मिल सके।”

मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी बीएस रावत द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि यह अभियान 21 जुलाई से 29 सितंबर तक तीन चरणों में चलाया जाएगा।पहला चरण 21 जुलाई से 31 जुलाई तक, दूसरा 19 अगस्त से 29 अगस्त तक, तीसरा चरण 18 सितंबर से 29 सितंबर तक चलता जाएगा। इस अभियान के द्वारा कुल 43 सेशन में 152 बच्चों और 24 से अधिक गर्भवती महिलाओं का टीकाकरण किया जाएगा।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र और सामुदायिक स्तर पर टीकाकरण शिविरों का आयोजन करेंगी ताकि अधिक से अधिक बच्चों तक पहुंच बनाई जा सके। जिलाधिकारी ने सभी अभिभावकों और नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे इस अभियान को सफल बनाने में अपना पूर्ण सहयोग दें।

इस अवसर पर प्रमुख अधीक्षक डॉ. पीएस पोखरियाल, जिला प्रतिरक्षण अधिकारी डा. वीएस पांगती, सहायक जिला प्रतिरक्षण अधिकारी, संजय बिजल्वाण एवं अन्य कर्मचारी आदि मौजूद रहे।
