गैरसैण: मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी और विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती ऋतु खंडूडी भूषण ने गैरसैंण (भराड़ीसैंण) में “एक पेड़ माँ के नाम” अभियान के तहत पौधा रोपण किया।

कैबिनेट मंत्री सतपाल महाराज, सुबोध उनियाल, श्रीमती रेखा आर्या, सौरभ बहुगुणा, मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन, अपर मुख्य सचिव आर.के सुधांशु, डीजीपी दीपम सेठ और प्रमुख वन संरक्षक हॉफ समीर सिन्हा ने भी इस अवसर पर एक पेड़ माँ के नाम अभियान के तहत पौधा रोपण किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेशवासियों से अपील की कि हर नागरिक अपने जीवन में कम से कम एक पौधा अवश्य लगाएँ। उन्होंने कहा कि यह अभियान पर्यावरण संरक्षण, जलवायु संतुलन और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के सुरक्षित भविष्य की दिशा में एक महत्त्वपूर्ण कदम है।
