जिलाधिकारी प्रशांत आर्य के निर्देशों के क्रम में अपर जिलाधिकारी मुक्ता मिश्र ने तहसील पुरोला के अंतर्गत सिंचाई, लोक निर्माण विभाग , एनएच और पीएमजीएसवाई के कार्यालयों का औचक निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान कार्यालयों में उपस्थिति पंजिकाओं की जाँच की और कर्मचारियों को समय पर कार्यालय पहुँचने के निर्देश दिये। इस दौरान अधिशासी अभियंता सिंचाई खंड पुरोला, अधिशासी अभियंता एनएच बड़कोट के साथ कई कार्मिक बिना अवकाश स्वीकृति के अनुपस्थित पाए गए जिसके चलते अपर जिलाधिकारी द्वारा उन्हें कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी करने के निर्देश दिये।
अपर जिलाधिकारी द्वारा निरीक्षण के दौरान इन कार्यालयों में पत्रावलियों के रख–रखाव और सफाई की उचित व्यवस्था नहीं होने पर कड़ी नाराजगी जताते हुए तत्काल व्यवस्थाओं को दुरुस्त करने के निर्देश दिये। इस दौरान अपर जिलाधिकारी द्वारा पुरोला तहसील के अंतर्गत कंडियाल गांव में प्रस्तावित खेल मैदान एवं दणमाण गांव में पेयजल पंपिंग योजना के लिए लैंड विजिट किया तथा कंडियाल गांव के प्राथमिक विद्यालय का निरीक्षण कर छात्र छात्राओं से फीडबैक लिया एवं शिक्षकों को आवश्यक निर्देश दिये।
अपर जिलाधिकारी ने संबंधित अधिकारियों से सिंचाई परियोजनाओं की वर्तमान स्थिति, सड़क निर्माण कार्यों की प्रगति और पीएमजीएसवाई के तहत चल रहे कार्यों की विस्तृत जानकारी ली और अधिकारियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण सामग्री का उपयोग करते हुए निर्धारित समय-सीमा के भीतर सभी परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के निर्देश दिये।

त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत उपचुनाव के दृष्टिगत अपर जिलाधिकारी द्वारा कार्यालय खंड विकास अधिकारी नौगांव पहुंचकर स्ट्रांग रूम और मतगणना स्थल का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। एडीएम ने कहा कि प्रशासन चुनाव प्रक्रिया की निष्पक्षता,सुरक्षा और पारदर्शी संचालन सुनिश्चित कराने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
