श्री बदरीनाथ – केदारनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति (बीकेटीसी) अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र अजय ने इसके लिए प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह सिंह धामी का आभार व्यक्त किया है।

बीकेटीसी अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र ने गत वर्ष महानिदेशक, भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग (एएसआई) व महानिदेशक, भारतीय भूवैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण (जीएसआई) को पत्र लिख कर समुद्र तल से 11942 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित श्री तुंगनाथ मंदिर ( समुद्र तल से ऊंचाई 11942 फीट)के जीर्णोद्वार, सौंदर्यीकरण व आवश्यक सुरक्षात्मक कार्यों को कराने के लिए तकनीकि परामर्श उपलब्ध कराने का आग्रह किया था। इस पर दोनों विभागों के विशेषज्ञों ने तुंगनाथ मंदिर का अध्ययन कर अपनी रिपोर्ट बीकेटीसी को सौंपी थी। दोनों विभागों के वैज्ञानिकों की रिपोर्ट के पश्चात बीकेटीसी ने केंद्रीय भवन अनुसंधान संस्थान (सीबीआरआई) रुड़की से भी इस संबंध में राय मांगी है। सीबीआरआई के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा पिछले दिनों तुंगनाथ का भ्रमण किया जा चुका है। उनकी रिपोर्ट भी जल्दी ही बीकेटीसी को मिल जाएगी।

इस बीच बीकेटीसी के अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र ने शासन को एएसआई व जीएसआई की रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते तुंगनाथ मंदिर के संरक्षण कार्यों के लिए सैद्वांतिक सहमति देने का अनुरोध किया। इस पर सचिव धर्मस्व व संस्कृति हरिचन्द्र सेमवाल ने बीकेटीसी को पत्र लिख कर इसकी अनुमति प्रदान कर दी है।

शासन ने मंदिर की पौराणिकता को देखते हुए इसकी विस्तृत योजना रिपोर्ट (डीपीआर) और सम्पूर्ण कार्य सीबीआरआई, रूड़की से सम्पादित कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। शासन ने यह भी निर्देश दिए हैं कि सम्पूर्ण कार्य एएसआई व जीएसआई के तकनीकि विशेषज्ञों के साथ समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए किए जाएंगे।
