देहरादून। उपनल कर्मचारी महासंघ उत्तराखण्ड की जिला कार्यकारणी ने प्रदीप चौहान को मीडिया प्रभारी के पद का दायित्व सौंपने पर संगठन ने उनका स्वागत किया।

उपनल कर्मचारी महासंघ के प्रदेश संयोजक विनोद गोदियाल ने कहा कि उपनल कर्मियों की हर लड़ाई में मीडिया का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब-जब उपनल कर्मी अपनी पीड़ा लेकर सरकार को जगाने के लिए सड़कों पर उतरे, आंदोलन किया तब तब मीडिया ने उपनल कर्मियों का पूरा सहयोग दिया। उन्होंने प्रदीप चौहान पर विश्वास जताते हुए कहा कि मीडिया प्रभारी की भूमिका को बखूबी निभाकर प्रदेश की इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, प्रिंट और सोशल मीडिया के पत्रकार मित्रों से बेहतर समन्वय कर उपनल की आवाज को और बुलंद करेंगे।

प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेश भट्ट ने बताया कि वर्ष 2018 में उत्तराखण्ड हाईकोर्ट ने उपनल कर्मियों को चरणबद्ध ढंग से एक वर्ष के अन्दर नियमावली तैयार कर नियमित करने के साथ न्यूनतम वेतन व छह माह के भीतर एरियर तथा महंगाई भत्ता देने के आदेश दिये थे, लेकिन सरकार ने हाई कोर्ट के फैसले को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दे दी जो आज भी विचाराधीन है।

जिलाध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल ने कहा कि प्रदेश के विभिन्न विभागों में 20-22 वर्षों से उपनल कर्मी पूरी निष्ठा के साथ कार्य कर रहे हैं, लेकिन सरकार उपनल कर्मियों के सुरक्षित भविष्य को लेकर गंभीर नही है।

मीडिया प्रभारी का दायित्व मिलने पर प्रदीप चौहान ने उपनल कार्मचारी महासंघ उत्तराखण्ड व जिला कार्यकारणी का आभार व्यक्त करते हुये कहा कि मैं अपने दायित्व का निर्वहन पूरी शिद्दत के साथ करूंगा। उन्होने कहा कि उपनल कर्मियों के जीत की लड़ाई के लिए सड़क से न्यायालय तक पुरजोर संघर्ष किया जायेगा।

इस दौरान जिला कोषाध्यक्ष विनीत खंडूरी, जिला महामंत्री रमेश डोभाल, प्रदेश संगठन मंत्री भूपेश नेगी, मनोज विभागीय अध्यक्ष प्रकाश, प्रदेश महामंत्री विनय प्रसाद आदि मौजूद रहे।
