देहरादून 24 मार्च। मुख्यमंत्री आवास परिसर में मंगलवार को शहद निष्कासन का कार्य किया गया। पहले चरण में लगभग 60 किलोग्राम शहद निकाला गया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने उद्यान विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि मुख्यमंत्री आवास परिसर तथा आसपास के क्षेत्रों में 3-बी गार्डन विकसित करने की दिशा में कार्य किए जाएं। इसमें बी-फ्रेंडली गार्डन, बटरफ्लाई-फ्रेंडली गार्डन और बर्ड-फ्रेंडली गार्डन शामिल होंगे, जिससे जैव विविधता को बढ़ावा मिल सके।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में मधुमक्खी पालन की अपार संभावनाएं हैं। राज्य में प्रचुर मात्रा में फूलों की विभिन्न प्रजातियां उपलब्ध हैं, जो उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले जैविक शहद के उत्पादन में सहायक हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में औषधीय गुणों से युक्त शहद तैयार करने के लिए लोगों को प्रेरित किया जाना चाहिए, जिससे स्थानीय लोगों की आय में भी वृद्धि होगी।
इस अवसर पर उद्यान प्रभारी दीपक पुरोहित तथा देवभूमि पर्वतीय ग्रामोद्योग विकास संस्थान, हरबर्टपुर के चेयरमैन अजय कुमार सैनी भी उपस्थित रहे।
