देहरादून 1 अप्रैल। राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेवानिवृत्त) ने बुधवार को लोक भवन में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में आपदा के दौरान उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले देहरादून जिले के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को सम्मानित किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने सभी सम्मानित कार्मिकों के समर्पण, साहस और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि उनका कार्य अन्य कर्मचारियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि जनपद देहरादून में 15-16 सितंबर 2025 की रात सहस्त्रधारा-कार्लीगाड क्षेत्र में हुई भीषण वर्षा और बादल फटने की घटना के कारण बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई थी। घटना के तुरंत बाद जिला प्रशासन की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और राहत व बचाव कार्य तेजी से शुरू किए गए। इस दौरान कई अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थितियों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करते हुए लोगों की सहायता की, जिनके योगदान को देखते हुए उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया।
