देहरादून 13 मार्च । जंगली जानवरों से किसानों की फसलों को होने वाले नुकसान से बचाने के लिए चल रही घेर-बाड़ योजना को केंद्र सरकार से फिर आर्थिक मदद मिलने लगी है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के प्रयासों के बाद केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्रालय ने उत्तराखंड के लिए 25 करोड़ की सहायता स्वीकृत की है।
विधानसभा के बजट सत्र के पांचवें दिन कृषि मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सदन में बताया कि हाल ही में गौचर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान के समक्ष राज्य में जंगली जानवरों से फसलों को हो रहे नुकसान और घेर-बाड़ योजना के लिए केंद्रीय सहायता की आवश्यकता का विषय उठाया था। इसके बाद केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्रालय ने योजना के लिए 25 करोड़ की स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है और इस संबंध में मंत्रालय का पत्र विभाग को प्राप्त हो गया है।
राज्य में लंबे समय से जंगली जानवरों के कारण किसानों की फसलों को भारी नुकसान हो रहा है। इससे राहत देने के लिए राज्य सरकार ने घेर-बाड़ योजना शुरू की थी। तीन वर्ष पहले तक यह योजना नेशनल एग्रीकल्चर डेप्लोमें स्कीम के अंतर्गत केंद्र सरकार की आर्थिक सहायता से संचालित हो रही थी, लेकिन बाद में केंद्रीय मदद बंद हो गई थी। इसके बाद किसानों की समस्या को देखते हुए मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर राज्य सरकार ने जिला योजना से इस योजना को जारी रखा।
तीन साल में 2841 हेक्टेयर भूमि की घेर-बाड़
सरकार ने सदन में जानकारी दी कि पिछले तीन वर्षों में जिला योजना के माध्यम से 2841 हेक्टेयर भूमि की घेर-बाड़ कराई गई है, जिससे 44,429 किसानों को लाभ मिला है। कृषि मंत्री ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री की पहल के चलते अब केंद्र से दोबारा सहायता मिलनी शुरू हो गई है।
उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने चालू वित्तीय वर्ष के बजट में भी घेर-बाड़ योजना के लिए ₹10 करोड़ का प्रावधान किया है, ताकि किसानों की फसलों को जंगली जानवरों से बचाने के प्रयास और मजबूत किए जा सकें।
