एम्स ऋषिकेश में विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन…

एम्स ऋषिकेश के एनेस्थिसियोलॉजी विभाग और इंडियन सोसायटी ऑफ एनेस्थीसियोलॉजी (आई. एस.ए.) की ऋषिकेश शाखा के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। संस्थान परिसर में आयोजित खेल स्पर्धाओं में सर्वश्रेष्ठ खेल टीम का खिताब एम्स ऋषिकेश के नाम रहा। जबकि क्रिकेट मैच की ट्राॅफी दून मेडिकल काॅलेज ने जीती।

अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, एम्स ऋषिकेश के खेल ग्राउण्ड में आयोजित खेल प्रतिस्पर्धाओें में राज्य के विभिन्न मेडिकल काॅलेजों और स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों की टीमों ने प्रतिभाग किया।

इन प्रतिस्पर्धाओं में क्रिकेट, बैडमिंटन, शतरंज, ट्रैक रेस, रस्साकशी और म्यूजिकल चेयर जैसी कुछ रोचक खेल शामिल थे। कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि उत्तराखंड सोसायटी ऑफ एनेस्थीसिया (यूके.एस.ए की अध्यक्ष डाॅ. पारूल जिन्दल ने खेल प्रतियोगिता का उद्घाटन करते हुए आह्वान किया कि एसोसिएशन से जुड़े प्रत्येक सदस्य का उद्देश्य होना चाहिए कि वह मैत्री सद्भावना को आगे बढ़ाने वाली खेल प्रतियोगिताओं की इस विरासत को आगे बढ़ाएं।

संस्थान की कार्यकारी निदेशक प्रोफेसर मीनू सिंह ने खेल स्पर्धाओं को टीम वर्क बताया और कहा कि युवा वर्ग सहित मेडिकल छात्र-छात्राओं के यह टीम वर्क को सफल साबित करने का से बेहतर अवसर है। आयोजन सचिव एम्स के एनेस्थेसिया विभाग के डाॅ. वाई.एस.पयाल ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आयीं टीमों का स्वागत कर सामाजिक सामंजस्य की भावना को बढ़ावा देने की बात कही।

जानकारी देते हुए प्रतियोगिता के सह आयोजन सचिव डाॅ. मृदुल धर ने बताया कि इन खेल स्पर्धाओं में एम्स ऋषिकेश, एचआईएमएस-एसआरएचयू, राजकीय दून मेडिकल कॉलेज, श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज, महन्त इंद्रेश मेडिकल कॉलेज और जीएमसी हल्द्वानी आदि मेडिकल काॅलेजों की टीमों ने भाग लिया।

उन्होंने बताया कि अन्डर 18 में 5-12 वर्ष उम्र के बच्चों की टीमों ने दौड़ प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रतिभाग कर अपना कौशल दिखाकर तालियां बटोरीं। क्रिकेट में राजकीय मेडिकल काॅलेज देहरादून ने मैच जीतकर ट्राफी पर कब्जा जमाया जबकि एम्स ऋषिकेश ऑल इन ऑल सर्वश्रेष्ठ खेल टीम की शील्ड अपने पास रखने में कामयाब रहा।

इस अवसर पर आयोजन अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर संजय अग्रवाल, सह-आयोजन सचिव डॉ. प्रवीण तलवार, प्रोफेसर अजीत कुमार, डॉ. अंकित अग्रवाल, डॉ. गौरव जैन, डॉ. अजय कुमार, डॉ. प्रियंका गुप्ता, डॉ. दीपक सिंगला, डॉ. भावना गुप्ता, डॉ. रूमा ठाकुरिया, डॉ. निकिता चौधरी आदि मौजूद रहे।
