मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के अनुसार, प्रदेश में आने वाले दिनों में बारिश और बर्फ़बारी हो सकती है। आगामी 18, 19, फरवरी को प्रदेश के 3300 मीटर से अधिक क्षेत्रों में हल्की बर्फ़बारी का अनुमान व्यक्त किया गया है। 20 और 21 फरवरी को मौसम थोड़ा ज्यादा बिगड़ सकता है।

20 फरवरी को उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, बागेश्वर और पिथौरागढ़ जनपदों में 3000 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में हल्की बर्फ़बारी होने अनुमान है जबकि देहरादून, पौड़ी टिहरी, चम्पवात, हरिद्वार, उधमसिंह नगर और नैनीताल जिलों के लिए बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
