उत्तराखंड के मैदानी शहरों में कोहरे से लोग कांप रहे हैं। न्यूनतम तापमान में गिरावट के साथ ही कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ रही है। दूसरी ओर, उत्तराखंड के मौसम पूर्वानुमान में बारिश और बर्फबारी का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। काशीपुर, रुड़की, हरिद्वार, ऋषिकेश, विकासनगर, रुद्रपुर आदि मैदानी शहरों में ठंड का प्रकोप जारी रहा। पिछले चार दिनों से घने कोहरे और बादलों के कारण लगातार ठंड का एहसास बढ़ रहा है। दिन में शीत लहर से लोगों की कंपकंपी छूट रही है।
उत्तराखंड में 11 और 12 जनवरी बारिश, ओलावृष्टि के साथ ही 2800 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई वाले पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में हिमपात के आसार हैं। मौसम विभाग ने आकाशीय बिजली चमकने और ओलावृष्टि को लेकर भी येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक, शनिवार को उत्तरकाशी, रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर जिले में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश की संभावना है। जबकि, देहरादून, टिहरी, हरिद्वार, पौड़ी, चंपावत, नैनीताल, ऊधमसिंह नगर में बहुत हल्की बारिश हो सकती है।
देहरादून और नैनीताल जिले में ओलावृष्टि के साथ ही बाकी जिलों में आकाशीय बिजली चमकने का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। आज तीन हजार मीटर की ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में हिमपात हो सकता है। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के मुताबिक, रविवार को भी बारिश का दौर जारी रहेगा और 2800 मीटर से अधिक ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में बर्फबारी हो सकती है।
