देहरादून । राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन, स्वास्थ्य विभाग उत्तराखंड द्वारा एक अनूठी पहल के तहत राज्य में पहली बार उत्तराखंड हैल्थ प्रीमियर लीग (यू.एच.पी.एल.) क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन 14 से 20 अक्टूबर तक महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज में किया जा रहा है। इस टूर्नामेंट का उद्देश्य खेल के माध्यम से विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य विषयों पर जागरूकता फैलाना है।

उत्तराखंड हैल्थ प्रीमियर लीग क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट में प्रदेश के 8 विभाग भाग ले रहे हैं, और प्रत्येक विभाग एक विशेष स्वास्थ्य थीम के अंतर्गत खेलेंगे। इन थीमों के जरिए स्वास्थ्य के महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों को समाज के समक्ष रखा जाएगा।

6. पोस्ट ऑफिस – जल जनित रोग
7. पीडब्ल्यूडी – मानसिक स्वास्थ्य
8. सीएमओ, देहरादून – शिशु स्वास्थ्य

सूबे के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने टूर्नामेंट के अवसर पर कहा, “यह उत्तराखंड हैल्थ प्रीमियर लीग क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट प्रदेश में स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने का एक अभिनव प्रयास है। खेल के माध्यम से हम लोगों को स्वास्थ्य से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्रदान करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। संपूर्ण टीकाकरण से लेकर मानसिक और शिशु स्वास्थ्य तक, हर पहलू को समझाने का यह एक अनूठा तरीका है। उत्तराखंड में स्वास्थ्य सुधार की दिशा में यह एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। हम इस अनोखी पहल के माध्यम से स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को समाज के हर वर्ग तक पहुंचाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।”

स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा इन आठ थीमों पर किए गए कार्यों की जानकारी साझा करते हुए कहा कि संपूर्ण टीकाकरण कार्यक्रम के तहत उत्तराखंड में शत-प्रतिशत टीकाकरण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई विशेष अभियान चलाए गए हैं। राष्ट्रीय तंबाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत राज्य में तंबाकू नियंत्रण हेतु सख्त कानून लागू किए गए हैं और जागरूकता कार्यक्रम लगातार चलाए जा रहे हैं। राष्ट्रीय क्षय उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम में टीबी उन्मूलन हेतु मुफ्त जांच और दवाइयों के साथ-साथ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में टीबी शिविर आयोजित किए गए हैं। मातृत्व स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए एएनसी चेकअप, आयरन की गोलियां और पोषण संबंधी सहायता राज्य के स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों पर दी जा रही है।

डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने आगे कहा कि, गैर संचारी रोग जिनमें हृदय रोग, मधुमेह, कैंसर, आदि शामित हैं की रोकथाम के लिए राज्य में स्क्रीनिंग और स्वास्थ्य शिविरों का आयोजन नियमित रूप से किया जा रहा है। जल जनित रोग जैसे डेंगू, मलेरिया, चिकनगुनिया के नियंत्रण व रोकथाम हेतु स्वच्छता के महत्व पर जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए समुदाय आधारित कार्यक्रम संचालित किये जा रहे हैं। मानसिक स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत राज्य में मानसिक स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों को बढ़ावा दिया गया है। शिशु स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत “शिशुओं के पोषण और स्वास्थ्य की देखभाल के लिए विशेष आंगनवाड़ी और हेल्थ चेकअप कार्यक्रम चलाए जा रहे हैं।”
