सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर परिवहन विभाग ने आयोजित किया जन जागरूकता कार्यक्रम

देहरादून: सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के प्रति आम जनमानस को जागरूक करने हेतु परिवहन विभाग द्वारा मा0 राज्यसभा सांसद नरेश बंसल की अध्यक्षता में परेड ग्राउंड स्थित दून लाइब्रेरी में जनपद सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया और आम जनमानस को यातायात नियमों की जानकारी देने के लिए शहर में जन जागरूकता रैली निकाली। सडक सुरक्षा कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में विधायक खजान दास, विधायक सविता कपूर, मानवाधिकार आयोग के सदस्य राम सिंह मीणा, सहायक परिवहन आयुक्त शैलेस तिवारी, संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी संदीप सैनी ने शिरकत की।

परिवहन विभाग द्वारा आईएसबीटी के पास सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल पीडित व्यक्ति की मदद कर उपचार हेतु तत्काल अस्पताल पहुंचाने पर सुश्री विजयश्री जोशी को नेक राहवीर सम्मान (गुड सेमिरिटन) के तहत प्रतीक चिन्ह, प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं 5 हजार नकद पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूक नागरिक सम्मान के तहत लोगों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने हेतु आशु कुशवाहा और सड़क सुरक्षा मित्र सम्मान के तहत स्वेच्छा से सड़क सुरक्षा क्षेत्र में सहयोग करने पर उमेश्वर सिंह रावत को प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं प्रतीक चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

मा0 राज्यसभा सांसद ने दून लाइब्रेरी में आयोजित सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को कम करने पर विशेष जोर दिया। कहा कि सरकार ने यातायात के लिए सड़के अच्छी बना दी है। एक शहर से दूसरे शहर के बीच दूरियां घट रही है, लेकिन इन सब के बीच सड़क दुर्घटनायें बढ़ी है, जो कि पूरे देश और समाज के लिए एक गंभीर और चिंता का विषय है।

उन्होंने परिवहन विभाग द्वारा आयोजित जागरूकता कार्यक्रम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि सड़क दुर्घटनाए रोकने के लिए लोगों को जागरूक किया जाना नितांत आवश्यक है। स्कूल, कॉलेज, प्रत्येक ब्लाक, नगर पालिका व नगर निगम सहित सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर साइनबोर्ड लगाकर लोगों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करें। ओवर लोडिंग, ओवर स्पीड व नशा करके गाडी चलाने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए। मा0 सांसद ने कहा की संवेदनशील होकर सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल लोगों की मदद करें। उनकों तत्काल उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाए। सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल लोगों की मदद करने वालों को गुड सेमिरिटन के तहत पुरस्कृत भी किया जाएगा।

सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में विधायक खजान दास, विधायक सविता कपूर, मानवाधिकार आयोग के सदस्य राम सिंह मीणा, सहायक परिवहन आयुक्त शैलेस तिवारी ने भी अपने विचार रखें और सभी लोगों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। बताया कि सड़क दुर्घटना का प्रमुख कारण मानव त्रुटि ही है। उन्होंने आम जनता को वाहन चलाते समय विशेष सावधानी के साथ सुरक्षा उपाय जैसे हेलमेट, सीट बेल्ट पहनने एवं ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करने की अपील भी की।

आरटीओ (प्रवर्तन) डॉ अनिता चमोला ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा एक प्रमुख विषय है। हर साल 1.50 लाख से अधिक लोगों की सड़क दुर्घटना में अकाल मृत्यु होती है। इनमें अधिकांश युवा शामिल है जो कि चिंताजनक है। उन्होंने सड़क सुरक्षा में सुधार के लिए मॉडल ’‘4ई’’ के बारे में जानकारी दी।

कहा कि इंजीनियरिंग, एजुकेशन, इनफोर्समेंट और इमरजेंसी केयर सर्विस को मजबूत कर सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को कम किया जा सकता है। इंजीनियरिंग से जहां अच्छी सड़के, अच्छे वाहन रहेंगे, वही सड़क सुरक्षा शिक्षा से नियमों की जानकारी जागरूकता मिलेगी। नियमों का पालन न करने वालों पर इनफोर्समेंट की कार्रवाई और सड़क दुघटना में घायलों को इंमरजेंसी केयर देना भी बहुत आवश्यक है। उन्होने गुड सेमिरिटन पुरस्कार के लिए परिवहन कार्यालय में आवेदन प्रक्रिया की जानकारी भी दी।

सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के बाद सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता वाहन रैली का आयोजन किया गया। रैली में दुपहिया वाहन, ई-ऑटो, ई-वाहन, ई-दुपहिया, मैजिक, ड्रॉइविंग ट्रेनिंग स्कूल के प्रशिक्षण वाहन, प्रदूषण चैकिंग लैब संचालित थे। रैली का संचालन घंटाघर से कनक चौक-एस्ले हॉल-घंटाघर-दर्शन लाल चौक-बुद्वाचौक, परेड ग्राउंड तक किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विधायक खजान दास, विधायक सविता कपूर, मानवाधिकार आयोग के सदस्य एवं पूर्व डीजी पुलिस राम सिंह मीणा, सहायक परिवहन आयुक्त शैलेश तिवारी, आरटीओ (प्रवर्तन) डॉ अनिता चमोला, आरटीओ (प्रशा.) डॉ संदीप सैनी, सीओ ट्रैफिक जगदीश चद्र पंत, एआरटीओ चक्रपाणी मिश्रा, एआरटीओ पंकज श्रीवास्तव, परिवहन कर अधिकारी अनिल नेगी, प्रज्ञा पंथ, अनुराधा पंथ, श्वेता रौथाण, शशी दुबे, दौलत पांडेय आदि मौजूद थे।
