पौड़ी गढ़वाल: भारत की सबसे लंबी रेल सुरंग का आज सफलतापूर्वक ब्रेकथ्रू हो गया है। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव व उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी मौजूद रहे। रेल विकास निगम लिमिटेड (आरवीएनएल) ने एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। यह उत्तराखंड की 125 किलोमीटर लंबी ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग ब्रॉड गेज रेल परियोजना से जुड़ी है। यह रेल परियोजना 105 किलोमीटर सुरंग के अंदर बनी है। इसमें ऋषिकेश से कर्णप्रयाग तक कुल 16 सुरंग हैं।

इस ऐतिहासिक अवसर पर केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव और उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने संयुक्त रूप से सुरंग स्थल पर पहुंचकर निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने निर्माण कार्यों का जायजा लिया और अधिकारियों से सुरंग की जानकारी ली। केंद्रीय रेलवे मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने सुरंग के सफल ब्रेकथ्रू पर खुशी जताते हुए कहा कि यह उत्तराखंड के विकास की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

उन्होंने इस उपलब्धि के लिए सभी रेलवे अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों और श्रमिकों को बधाई दी। रेल मंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल परियोजना का कार्य तेजी से प्रगति कर रहा है और जल्द ही इस रेल लाइन पर संचालन शुरू होने की उम्मीद है। यह परियोजना राज्य के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों को रेल नेटवर्क से जोड़ने की दिशा में मील का पत्थर साबित होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह (देवप्रयाग सौड़ से जनासु तक) 14.57 किलोमीटर लंबी रेलवे सुरंग उत्तराखंड की ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे भारत में सबसे लंबी सुरंग है।

उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार की पहल पर यह पहली बार है जब देश के पहाड़ी इलाकों में रेल सुरंग बनाने के लिए टीबीएम तकनीक का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। कहा कि 9.11 मीटर व्यास वाली इस सिंगल-शील्ड रॉक टीबीएम ने काम में जो तेजी और सटीकता दिखाई है, वह वैश्विक स्तर पर एक नया मापदंड स्थापित करती है। रेल मंत्री ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग परियोजना उत्तराखंड के ऋषिकेश, देवप्रयाग, श्रीनगर, रुद्रप्रयाग, गौचर और कर्णप्रयाग जैसे प्रमुख शहरों को जोड़ेगी।

रेल मंत्री ने कहा कि इस परियोजना से ऋषिकेश से कर्णप्रयाग का सफर सात घंटे से घटकर सिर्फ दो घंटे का हो जाएगा। यह हर मौसम में दूरदराज के इलाकों तक पहुंच आसान करेगा और उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन व आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देगा। यह चार धाम रेल परियोजना को पूरा करने की दिशा में भी बड़ा कदम है। इस उपलब्धि के साथ आरवीएनएल ने भारत के सबसे मुश्किल इलाकों में आधुनिक निर्माण तकनीक में अपनी मजबूत जगह बनाई है। यह सफलता न सिर्फ एक सुरंग की कहानी है, बल्कि एक नए, मजबूत और कनेक्टेड भारत की शुरुआत है।
