राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त सुशील कुमार ने सोमवार को राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग मुख्यालय में नागर स्थानीय निकाय सामान्य निर्वाचन 2024 के संबंध में प्रेस वार्ता की। राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त ने उत्तराखंड राज्य के 11 नगर निगम, 43 नगर पालिका परिषद एवं 46 नगर पंचायतों के सामान्य निर्वाचन 2024 हेतु निर्धारित कार्यक्रम जारी किया।
राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त ने बताया कि नाम निर्देशन पत्र 27 दिसंबर, 2024 से प्राप्त किए जा सकेंगे, नाम निर्देशन पत्रों को प्राप्त करने की अंतिम तिथि 30 दिसंबर 24 है। उन्होंने कहा कि नाम निर्देशन पत्रों की जांच 31 दिसंबर, 2024 एवं 1 जनवरी, 2025 को की जाएगी। नाम निर्देशन पत्रों की वापसी की तिथि 2 जनवरी, 2025 निर्धारित की गई है। 3 जनवरी 2025 को निर्वाचन प्रतीक आबंटित किए जाएंगे। मतदान की तिथि 23 जनवरी 2025 एवं मतों की गणना की 25 जनवरी, 2025 को की जाएगी।
राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त ने बताया कि प्रदेश में कुल महिला मतदाताओं की संख्या 14 लाख 93 हजार 519 है, जबकि पुरुष मतदाताओं की संख्या 15 लाख 89 हजार 467 है, अन्य मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 514 है। इस प्रकार कुल मतदाताओं की संख्या 30 लाख 83 हजार 500 है।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रदेश में कुल संवेदनशील मतदान केंद्र 601 एवं मतदान स्थल 1292 हैं। कुल अति संवेदनशील मतदान केंद्र 422 और मतदान स्थल 1078 है, संवेदनशील एवं अति संवेदनशील मतदान केंद्रों की संख्या घट बढ़ सकती है।
