देहरादून: जनपद में सड़क सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल के निर्देशों के अनुपालन में सड़क सुधारीकरण, स्पीड ब्रेकर एवं ज़ेबरा क्रॉसिंग, डिवाइडर का कार्य तेजी से गतिमान है। जिलाधिकारी स्वयं सड़क सुरक्षा कार्यों की मॉनीटरिंग कर रहे हैं।

राजपुर रोड पर ओवर राइडिंग व सड़क क्रॉसिंग को ध्यान में रखते हुए डिवाइडर के निर्माण कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है। डिवाइडर के ऊपर स्टील का रेलिंग भी लगाए जाएंगे। डिवाइडर बनने से चालकों की मर्जी पर लगेगा ब्रेक, अनियमित, कही पर से कट करने वाले, मोड़ने वाले दुपहिया वाहन पर लगाम लगेगा।

सड़क सुरक्षा निर्माण कार्य से दुपहिया हुडदंगियों व वाहनों की तेज चाल पर ब्रेक लग चुकी है और लोगों को ध्वनि प्रदुषण से राहत मिलने लगी है। उप जिलाधिकारी/नोडल अधिकारी कुमकुम जोशी एवं अधिशासी अभियंता जीतेन्द्र त्रिपाठी सहित संबंधित अधिकारी स्वयं मौके उपस्थित होकर मानक के अनुरूप सड़क सुरक्षा कार्य को युद्ध स्तर पर करवा रहे हैं।

शहर के विभिन्न स्थानों चौकों पर स्पीड ब्रेकर जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग एवं स्टॉप लाइन का कार्य किया गया। जबकि राजपुर रोड में पुरानी जिर्णशीर्ण डिवाइड को हटाकर नई डिवाइड लगाने का कार्य योजना स्तर पर जारी है। डीएम के निर्देशों के अनुपालन में सड़क सुरक्षा के कार्यों को युद्ध स्तर पर मानक के अनुरूप पूर्ण किया जा रहा हैं।
