देहरादून: जीआरडी आईएमटी कॉलेज देहरादून की ट्रस्टी डॉली ओबेरॉय ने कॉलेज दुनिया द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम “अकादमिक और इंडस्ट्री स्किल सेट के बीच अंतर” में पैनलिस्ट के रूप में भाग लिया।
यह कार्यक्रम देहरादून के मसूरी रोड स्थित एक होटल में आयोजित की गई। इस कार्यक्रम में उत्तराखंड के पूर्व डीजीपी अशोक कुमार के साथ-साथ देहरादून के प्रमुख कॉलेजों के कई प्रमुख नीति निर्माताओं की उपस्थिति ने शोभा बढ़ाई, कार्यक्रम में कॉलेज दुनिया के चीफ बिजनेस ऑफिसर संजय मीना भी उपस्थित रहे ।
जीआरडी आईएमटी कॉलेज देहरादून की अध्यक्ष डॉली ओबेरॉय ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान शिक्षा प्रणाली के लिए तकनीकी प्रगति की तीव्र गति से उत्पन्न होने वाली महत्वपूर्ण चुनौती पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि जहाँ तकनीक तेज़ी से विकसित हो रही है, वहीं शिक्षा क्षेत्र इसके साथ तालमेल बिठाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा वर्तमान में इंडस्ट्री में जिस तेजी से तकनीक और लोगों के कौशल में बदलाव आ रहे हैं उस तेजी से हम शिक्षा व्यवस्था में अभी बदलाव नहीं कर पा रहे हैं, जिसके चलते इंडस्ट्री के हिसाब से भारतीय युवाओं को तैयार होने में संघर्ष का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
मैं अमेरिकन एवं यूरोपियन एजुकेशन सिस्टम को अच्छे से समझती हूं परंतु हमारे भारत में जो स्किल सेट टीचर एवं प्रोफेसर्स में है उसे भी अब समय आ गया है की अपग्रेड किया जाए और उनके स्किल सेट, कैपेसिटी बिल्डिंग और टेक्नोलॉजी के इस्तेमाल को सहज बनाया जाए।
जीआरडी आईएमटी में हमेशा छात्र- छात्राओं को कम्युनिकेशन स्किल्स, एनालिटिकल एवं लॉजिकल थिंकिंग के साथ-साथ कठिन परिश्रम एवं अपने साथ वालों से अच्छा व्यवहार किया जाए कि ऊपर फॉक्स होकर काम करना दिखाया जाता हैं, जिससे छात्र-छात्राओं को उनके शुरुआती करियर में सफलता के साथ-साथ अन्य लोगों से सीखने का सुनहरा अवसर भी प्रदान होता है। डॉली ओबेरॉय ने इन मुद्दे को संबोधित करने के लिए, उद्योग और शिक्षा के मिश्रण को उद्योग की माँगों के लिए भावी पीढ़ियों को तैयार करने की कुंजी के रूप में *इंडेमिया* शब्द पेश किया।
