इसी कड़ी में निदेशक, गढ़वाल मण्डल डॉ0 शिखा जंगपांगी द्वारा अपने तीन दिवसीय जनपद भ्रमण कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत आकांक्षी ब्लॉक मोरी के सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र मोरी से की गई। सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र मोरी के निरीक्षण के दौरान प्रभारी चिकित्सा अधिकारी को निर्देश दिये गये कि चिकित्सा इकाई में आवश्यक जीवनरक्षक औषधियां, ऑक्सीजन सिलिण्डर, ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर आवश्यक उपकरण/सामग्री एवं स्टॉफ की समुचित व्यवस्था 24×7 सुनिश्चित की जाए।
चिकित्सालय में तैनात ए0एन0एम0 से शिशु टीकाकरण एवं टीकाकरण कार्यक्रम की विस्तृत जानकारी ली गई। उनके द्वारा पैथोलॉजी लैब का निरीक्षण करते हुए चंदन डायग्नोस्टिक प्रतिनिधि को निर्देश दिये कि निःशुल्क जांचों की सूची आवश्यक रूप से चस्पा की जाए साथ ही प्रचार-प्रसार सामग्री आम जनमानस को उपलब्ध करायी जाए। तदोपरान्त् निदेशक, गढ़वाल मण्डल द्वारा आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिर गढुगाड़ का निरीक्षण करते हुए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र पुरोला, नौगांव एवं बड़कोट का निरीक्षण किया गया।
निरीक्षण के दौरान उनके द्वारा समस्त प्रभारी चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया गया कि आम जनमानस को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधा उपलब्ध कराये जाने के उद्देश्य से चिकित्सालयों में पर्याप्त मात्रा में आवश्यक जीवनरक्षक औषधियां एवं सभी चिकित्सा उपकरण क्रियाशील अवस्था में रखे जाएं। शनिवार को अपने भ्रमण के दूसरे दिन निदेशक, गढवाल द्वारा सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र चिन्यालीसौड़ व प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र डुण्डा का भ्रमण किया गया। भ्रमण के दौरान उनके द्वारा चिकित्सालय की ओ0पी0डी0, आई0पी0डी0, पैथालॉजी लैब, टीकाकरण कक्ष, चंदन पैथोलॉजी, दवा वितरण कक्ष, आपातकालीन कक्ष, लेबर रूम एवं दवा स्टोर रूम का निरीक्षण किया गया साथ ही उनके द्वारा निरीक्षण के दौरान चारधाम या़त्रा में आये श्रद्धालुओं का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया गया तथा श्रद्धालुओं से यात्रा मार्ग पर मिल रही स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के बारे में फीडबैक लिया गया जिस पर सभी श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा मिल रही चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं से संतोष व्यक्त किया गया।
निदेशक द्वारा यात्रा मार्गो पर स्थापित स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण केंद्रों, चिकित्सा इकाइयों एवं चिकित्सा राहत केंद्रों का निरीक्षण कर, सभी को आवश्यक दिशा – निर्देश दिए गए। निदेशक, गढ़वाल मण्डल द्वारा जानकारी दी गई कि जनपद बार्डर एवं सीमांत क्षेत्र होने के कारण काफी संवेदनशील क्षेत्र है एवं वर्तमान में भारत सरकार द्वारा आतंकवाद के खिलाफ की जा रही सख्त कार्यवाही के दृष्टिगत जनपद के सभी चिकित्सालयों में समुचित स्टाफ, पर्याप्त मात्रा मे जीवन रक्षक दवाईयों, सर्जिकल उपकरण, ऑक्सीजन सिलेण्डर एवं अन्य आवश्यक चिकित्सा उपकरणों की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित किये जाने हेतु सभी प्रभारी चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया गया है।
समस्त ब्लॉक के निरीक्षण उपरांत निदेशक, गढ़वाल मंडल द्वारा मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी कार्यालय में समीक्षा बैठक आहूत की गई जिसमें उनके द्वारा स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अंतर्गत संचालित की जा रही समस्त कार्यक्रमों एवं योजनाओं की समीक्षा की गई। निदेशक द्वारा मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी को निर्देश दिए गए कि समस्त चिकित्सालयों के छतों के ऊपर रेड क्रॉस का साइन बनाया जाए। साथ ही मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी को निर्देश दिए गए कि सभी अधिकारियों वा कर्मचारियों को अपने-अपने कार्यस्थल पर तैनात रहने का आदेश करें।
