मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य की आगामी 25 साल की आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभिन्न विकास योजनाओं का सुनियोजित प्लान कर कार्य किये जाएं। 2047 तक प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के विकसित भारत के संकल्प को पूरा करने के लिए राज्य में भी अल्पकालिक, लघुकालिक और दीर्घकालीन योजनाओं पर कार्य किया जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड निवेश और आधारिक संरचना विकास बोर्ड के तहत सभी परियोजनाओं से संबधित क्षेत्रों के विकास के लिए सुनियोजित तरीके से कार्य किया जाए। जनप्रतिनिधियों और स्टेक होल्डरों के सुझावों को शामिल कर परियोजनाओं को आगे बढ़ाया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि इन परियोजनाओं की नियमित समीक्षा की जायेगी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश को वैडिंग डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में पहचान दिलाने के लिये विभिन्न स्थलों का चयन कर वहां अवस्थापना सुविधाओं के विकास पर ध्यान देने को कहा। इसके लिए वेडिंग प्लानरों, होटल समूहों से सहयोग लेकर इसके प्रचार प्रसार पर भी ध्यान देने पर बल दिया। राज्यों में दो नये शहरों के विकास और सभी प्रकार की मूलभूत सुविधाएं विकसित करने के लिए स्पष्ट कार्ययोजना के तहत कार्य करने के उन्होंने निर्देश दिये।

उन्होंने कहा कि यू.आई.आई.डी.बी. की परियोजनाओं के तहत पर्यटन और तीर्थाटन की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों के विकास पर भी विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए। गंगा और शारदा कॉरिडोर के पौराणिक और आध्यात्मिक महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए कार्य किये जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि राज्य हित में जिन उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति के लिये यू.आई.आई.डी.बी. का गठन किया गया है, उसके परिणाम शीघ्र धरातल पर दिखाई दें।
