गैरसैण: गढ़वाल और कुमांऊ को जोड़ने वाले बहुप्रतीक्षित सिंगटाली पुल के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने 57 करोड़ की वित्तीय और प्रशासनिक स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है। इससे पुल निर्माण जल्द प्रारंभ होने की उम्मीद है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने अपनी पूर्व की घोषणा के क्रम में पौड़ी जिले की यमकेश्वर विधानसभा में प्रस्तावित इस पुल के लिए अहम वित्तीय और प्रशासनिक स्वीकृति प्रदान कर दी है। मंगलवार को शासन द्वारा प्रमुख अभियंता लोनिवि को इस बारे में विधिवत आदेश जारी कर दिए गए हैं। कौडियाला- व्यासघाट मोटर मार्ग के किमी 01 में गंगानदी पर प्रस्तावित सिंगटाली पुल की कुल लंबाई 150 मीटर है, इस पर कुल लागत 57 करोड़ 5 लाख 25 हजार की लागत आनी है।
मुख्यमंत्री के विशेष निर्देश पर, मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित व्यय – वित्त समिति पहले ही इस प्रस्ताव को हरी झंडी दे चुकी है। इस तरह इस बहुप्रतीक्षित पुल के निर्माण की सभी बाधाएं अब दूर हो चुकी है, जिससे शीघ्र पुल निर्माण प्रांरभ हो सकेगा।
सिंगटाली पुल की मांग जनता लंबे समय से कर रही थी। इस पुल के निर्माण से गढ़वाल- कुमांऊ के मध्य सड़क सम्पर्क और मजबूत हो सकेगा। अब तेजी से निमार्ण कार्य प्रारंभ करते हुए, तय समय में इसे पूरा किया जाएगा।
