देहरादून: जनमानस की सुरक्षा एवं कानून व्यवस्था के दृष्टिगत पल्टन बाजार में स्थापित किये गए 22 सीसीटीवी कैमरे एवं पीए सिस्टम का डीएम सविन बसंल एवं एसएसपी अजय सिंह ने आज कोतवाली देहरादून से विधिवत् शुभारंभ कर दिया है।

जिलाधिकारी सविन बसंल ने कहा कि जो भी हमारे संसाधन है वह जनमानस/सार्वजनिक हित के लिए है। सरकार की सभी सेवाओं एवं सामजिक योजना जिनपर सरकार व्यय कर रही है इन सभी सुविधाओं का उद्देश्य है अन्तिम छोर के व्यक्ति को लाभ मिले।

इसके लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत् है। उन्हांेने कहा कि जनहित जो भी सुझाव मिलेंगे उन पर विचार किया जाएगा। जिलाधिकारी एवं वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक के संयुक्त भ्रमण कार्यक्रम के दौरान पल्टन बाजार में जनमानस, व्यापारियों, महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत सीसीटीवी कैमरे, पब्लिक एड्रेस सिस्टम, पिंक बूथ बनाने के निर्देश दिए गए थे जिसके लिए जिलाधिकारी ने पुलिस को धनराशि निर्गत की थी इसी का परिणाम है कि आज पल्टन बाजार में सीसीटीवी एवं पब्लिक एड्रेस सिस्टम का विधिवत् शुभारंभ किया गया है।

वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कहा कि जिलाधिकारी को शहर में सुरक्षा एवं यातायात व्यवस्था हेतु प्रस्ताव जा रहे उसे तत्वरित स्वीकार करते हुए धनराशि निर्गत की जा रही है, जिससे शहर में कानून व्यवस्था अन्य व्यवस्था बनाने में सहयोग मिल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस के पास बजट लिमिटेशन होती है, किन्तु जिला प्रशासन के सहयोग से अब यह लिमिटेशन खत्म हो रही है जल्द ही शहर में और अधिक अच्छी व्यवस्था बनाई जा सकेगी। उन्होंने कहा जल्द ही ऋषिकेश में भी 46 कैमरे स्थापित किये जाएंगे।

इस अवसर पर उपस्थित व्यापार मण्डल के सदस्यों से जिलाधिकारी एवं एसएसपी की कार्याें की सरहाना करते हुए कहा कि डीएम व एसएसपी के समन्वय से जो जनमानस की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत कार्य किये जा रहे हैं वह सराहनीय है तथा यह जिला प्रशासन एवं पुलिस का सबसे अच्छा समन्वय है, जिससे जनहित में अच्छे कार्य हो रहे हैं। वहीं व्यापारियों द्वारा सर्राफा बाजार में कैमेरे लगाने की मांग की गई जिस पर जिलाधिकारी ने पुलिस को प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत करने को कहा।
