उत्तराखंड निकाय चुनाव की राज्य चुनाव आयोग ने तारीखों की घोषणा कर दी है। राज्य में निकाय चुनाव 23 जनवरी को होंगे जबकि परिणाम 25 जनवरी को घोषित किया जाएगा। नामांकन दाखिल करने की तिथि 27 दिसम्बर से 30 दिसंबर 2024 तक है। 31 दिसम्बर से 1 जनवरी 2025 तक पत्रों की जांच की जायेगी।
नाम वापसी तिथि दो जनवरी 2025 है निर्वाचन प्रतीक आवंटन की तिथि 3 जनवरी 2025 रहेगी। यानि 3 जनवरी को चुनाव चिन्ह मिल जाएगा। इसके बाद 23 जनवरी को पूरे उत्तराखंड में मतदान किया जाएगा और 25 जनवरी को चुनाव का परिणाम घोषित किया जाएगा।
बता दें कि वर्तमान में प्रदेश में निकायों की संख्या 107 है, जिसमें 11 नगर निगम, 45 नगर पालिका और 48 नगर पंचायत हैं। नगर पंचायत बद्रीनाथ, केदारनाथ और गंगोत्री में निकायों की गठन के बाद निर्वाचन नहीं कराया गया है इस बार भी यहां चुनाव नहीं होंगे। नगर पंचायत पाटी और गढ़ीनेगी परिसीमन उपलब्ध नहीं होने के कारण तथा नगर पालिका परीषद नरेंद्र नगर, और नगर पालिका परिषद किच्छा में परिसीमन उपलब्ध नहीं होने के कारण चुनाव नहीं होंगे, यानी कुल 07 विकायों में चुनाव नहीं होंगे।
बता दें कि चुनाव आयोग की अधिसूचना जारी होने के बाद उपरोक्त 07 निकायों को छोड़कर सभी निकायों में आचार संहिता प्रभावी हो गई है जो चुनाव परिणामों की घोषणा तक लागू रहेगी।
