राजभवन में ‘‘एक शाम सैनिकों के नाम’’ कार्यक्रम हुआ आयोजित…

राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) एवं मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को सशस्त्र बल भूतपूर्व सैनिक दिवस (वेटरन्स डे) के अवसर पर राजभवन में सैनिक कल्याण विभाग द्वारा आयोजित ‘‘एक शाम सैनिकों के नाम’’ कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल और मुख्यमंत्री ने वीरता पदक विजेताओं और सराहनीय कार्य करने वाले पूर्व सैनिकों को सम्मानित किया।

कार्यक्रम में अर्धसैनिक बल के जवानों और अधिकारियों को राज्यपाल प्रशंसा पत्र भी प्रदान किए गए।(सूची संलग्न) कार्यक्रम में कुमांऊ स्कॉउट्स, 4वीं बटालियन असम रेजिमेंट और 14वीं राजपूताना राइफल्स को भी उनके सराहनीय योगदान के लिए यूनिट प्रशंसा पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने कहा कि भूतपूर्व सैनिकों का अनुभव और उनकी नेतृत्व क्षमता राष्ट्र की अमूल्य संपत्ति उनका जीवन अनुशासन, नेतृत्व और राष्ट्रभक्ति का अद्वितीय उदाहरण है, जो वर्तमान और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत है। उन्होंने भूतपूर्व सैनिकों से आग्रह किया कि वे अपने अनुभवों से समाज और देश को नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाने में सहयोग करें। 2047 तक विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य को पूरा करने में वे अपना योगदान दें।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि भूतपूर्व सैनिक उद्यमिता और स्टार्टअप के क्षेत्र में आगे आएं और समाज और राष्ट्र को प्रेरित करने का काम करें। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि आज का दिन हमें यह संकल्प लेना है कि हम अपने वीर शहीदों के परिजनों की देखभाल और उनकी हर परिस्थिति में सहयोग करते हुए उनके लिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं, ईसीएचएस लाभ और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं का बेहतर प्रबंधन सुनिश्चित करेंगे।

राज्यपाल ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड वीरों की भूमि है, जिसे ‘देवभूमि’ के साथ-साथ ‘वीरभूमि’ भी कहा जाता है। यहां अनेक वीर सपूतों ने देश की रक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वाेच्च बलिदान दिया है। आज का यह कार्यक्रम हमारे उन वीरों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने का एक छोटा सा प्रयास है। यह हमारे सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों को संदेश देता है कि उनका बलिदान न केवल हमारे लिए अमूल्य है, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत भी है।

इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि सैनिक पुत्र होने के नाते जब भी वे सैनिकोें से जुड़े किसी कार्यक्रम में शामिल होते है तो उन्हें लगता है कि वे अपने परिवार के मध्य है उन्होंने राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) जी की प्रेरणा से राजभवन में पहली बार आयोजित इस आयोजन को प्रेरणादायी बताते हुए उनका आभार व्यक्त किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि देवभूमि उत्तराखंड वीरभूमि के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, क्योंकि भारतीय सेना के गौरवमयी इतिहास में उत्तराखण्ड के हमारे वीर सैनिकों का योगदान अतुलनीय रहा है। इतिहास इस बात का साक्षी है कि हमारे वीर सपूतों ने मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने में कभी कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी। उत्तराखंड के वीरों ने अपनी बहादुरी और साहस से हमेशा ये दिखलाया है कि देवभूमि ना केवल विश्व को शांति का मार्ग दिखा सकती है, बल्कि आवश्यकता पड़ने पर शौर्य और वीरता का भी प्रदर्शन कर सकती है। ये हम सभी के लिए गर्व की बात है कि उत्तराखण्ड जैसे छोटे राज्य में अब तक करीब 1834 सैनिकों को वीरता पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है, और ये संख्या हर वर्ष निरंतर बढ़ती जा रही है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी सैनिकों और पूर्व सैनिकों के उत्थान हेतु निरंतर कार्य करते रहे हैं। देश में वन रैंक-वन पेंशन की शुरुआत प्रधानमंत्री श्री मोदी ने ही की। जिससे पूर्व सैनिकों को ना सिर्फ आर्थिक मजबूती मिली बल्कि उनके आत्मसम्मान की भी रक्षा हुई। एक सैनिक पुत्र होने के नाते उन्होंने भी पूर्व सैनिकों एवं उनके परिवार की समस्याओं और चुनौतियों को नजदीक से देखा और समझा है। इसीलिए राज्य सरकार का हमेशा ये प्रयास रहता है कि शहीदों और उनके परिवारों की भलाई के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किए जाएं। इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए हमने उत्तराखंड में वीर बलिदानियों के परिजनों को राज्य सरकार द्वारा दी जाने वाली अनुग्रह राशि को 10 लाख रुपए से बढ़ाकर 50 लाख रुपए किया है। उन्होंने ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार सैनिकों और पूर्व सैनिकों के कल्याण के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है यह राज्य के वीर सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के प्रति हमारे सम्मान और सर्मपण का प्रतीक है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नववर्ष में 2025 के प्रथम माह में राज्य में समान नागरिक सहिंता लागू कर दी जायेगी इसके साथ ही इसी माह 28 जनवरी से राज्य में राष्ट्रीय खेलों का आयोजन किया जायेगा। जिसका शुभारंभ देश के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी करेंगें, उन्होंने कहा कि इस आयोजन में देशभर के लगभग 10 हजार खिलाड़ी भाग लेंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश की जनता से इस आयोजन में आने वाले खिलाड़ियों एवं इससे जुड़े लोगों का हृदय से स्वागत करने की भी अपील की । उन्होंने कहा कि इससे पूर्व प्रदेश में आयोजित हुए जी-20 सम्मेलन में शामिल होने वाले महानुभावों को मिले सम्मान एवं आत्मीयता से देशभर में राज्य की समृद्ध परंपराओं को पहचान मिली है, हमारी अतिथि देवो भवः की परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाने में भी इससे मदद मिलेगी।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री श्री गणेश जोशी ने भी अपने विचार रखते हुए सैन्य कल्याण विभाग द्वारा दी जा रही योजनाओं की जानकारी दी। सचिव सैनिक कल्याण दीपेंद्र चौधरी ने सभी का स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर प्रथम महिला श्रीमती गुरमीत कौर, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल संदीप जैन, आईजी आईटीबीपी संजय गुज्यांल, निदेशक सैनिक कल्याण ब्रिगेडियर अमृत लाल सहित बड़ी संख्या में सेवारत और भूतपूर्व सैनिक उपस्थित रहे।
