बैठक के दौरान श्रीमती दीप्ति रावत भारद्वाज ने उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय महिला समूहों के उत्कृष्ट कार्यों को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि-SHG महिलाओं ने उत्तराखंड की ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को नयी दिशा दी है।

स्थानीय उत्पादों के मूल्य संवर्धन से लेकर डिजिटल लेन-देन तक हमारी बहनें स्वयं को और अपने परिवारों को सशक्त बना रही हैं।”

प्रदेश महामंत्री ने बैठक में निम्न विषयों पर विशेष रूप से प्रकाश डाला:

• स्थानीय उद्योगों व हस्तशिल्प का मूल्य संवर्धन

• महिला उद्यमिता को बढ़ाने हेतु कौशल एवं वित्तीय प्रशिक्षण

माननीय वित्त मंत्री श्रीमती सीतारामण ने उत्तराखंड की महिलाओं की भूमिका की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि केंद्र सरकार महिला आर्थिक भागीदारी बढ़ाने, SHG समूहों को नई तकनीक, प्रशिक्षण और संसाधन प्रदान करने के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों की भौगोलिक चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्थानीय परिस्थितियों पर आधारित नए आजीविका मॉडल विकसित करने का सुझाव भी दिया।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि-“SHG उत्पादों को ई-कॉमर्स प्लेटफॉर्म, राष्ट्रीय बाज़ार और सरकारी क्रय प्रणालियों से जोड़ना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।
