गांधीनगर/देहरादून। सूबे के सहकारिता मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने अपने गुजरात प्रवास के दौरान आज गांधीनगर स्थित राजभवन में गुजरात के राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत से शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस मुलाकात में उत्तराखंड में सहकारिता एवं प्राकृतिक खेती के क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे कार्यों एवं भावी योजनाओं पर सार्थक विचार-विमर्श हुआ। कैबिनेट मंत्री डॉ. रावत ने राज्यपाल को उत्तराखंड में आगामी माह सितम्बर से प्रारंभ हो रहे सहकारी मेलों के उद्घाटन समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल होने का आमंत्रण दिया, जिसे राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत ने सहर्ष स्वीकार किया और उन्होंने उत्तराखंड आने का वादा किया।
मुलाकात के दौरान राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत ने गुजरात राज्य में प्राकृतिक खेती के अनुभव साझा करते हुए बताया कि राज्य के हर गांव में प्राकृतिक खेती को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, जिससे अनेक किसान प्रति एकड़ पाँच लाख रुपये तक की आय अर्जित कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्राकृतिक खेती से भूमि, जल, वायु और मानव स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा होती है और यह किसानों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाती है। राज्यपाल ने यह भी कहा कि वर्तमान समय में लोग स्वास्थ्य के प्रति अधिक सजग हो चुके हैं, लेकिन प्राकृतिक खेती और जैविक खेती (ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग) में भेद को स्पष्ट करने की आवश्यकता है। जब तक किसानों को यह अंतर समझ में नहीं आता, तब तक वे प्राकृतिक खेती को पूरी तरह नहीं अपना पाएंगे। राज्यपाल ने उत्तराखंड में प्राकृतिक खेती की अपार संभावनाओं की ओर भी इशारा किया और कहा कि विशेष रूप से पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में यह मॉडल बहुत कारगर हो सकता है। उन्होंने सहकारिता और प्राकृतिक खेती को जोड़कर अधिक से अधिक किसानों तक पहुँचने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
इस अवसर पर डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने राज्यपाल को उत्तराखंड में सहकारिता विभाग द्वारा चलाई जा रही वीर माधो सिंह भंडारी संयुक्त सहकारी खेती योजना की जानकारी दी, जिससे किसानों को प्रत्यक्ष लाभ मिल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में सहकारिता आंदोलन को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने के उद्देश्य से आगामी सितम्बर माह से सहकारी मेलों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। बैठक में उत्तराखंड सहकारिता विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे।
