आपातकाल लागू किये जाने की 50वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य में आगामी बुधवार 25 जून को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में राज्य स्तरीय संवाद कार्यक्रम कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी द्वारा आपातकाल के दौरान मीसा एवं डी.आई.आर. में निरुद्ध रहे राज्य के लोकतंत्र सेनानियों एवं दिवंगत लोकतंत्र सेनानियों की पत्नी अथवा पति को सम्मानित करने के साथ ही आपातकाल के दौर के अनुभवों को साझा किया जाएगा। इस मौके पर राज्य में सभी जिलों में भी व्यापक जनसहभागिता के साथ कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करने के साथ ही पचास स्थानों पर आपातकाल को लेकर प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन भी किया जाएगा।
देश में 25 जून 1975 से 21 मार्च 1977 की अवधि में आपातकाल लागू किया गया था। आपातकाल लागू किये जाने की 50वीं वर्षगांठ पर भारत सरकार के निर्देशानुसार राज्य में विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किए जाने हेतु अपर सचिव गृह श्रीमती निवेदिता कुकरेती की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित बैठक में अनेक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लेते हुए विभिन्न विभागों एवं जिलाधिकरियों को कार्यक्रम आयोजन की जिम्मेदारियां सौंपी गई है। बैठक में तय किया गया कि आगामी 25 जून को मुख्यमंत्री आवास पर आयोजित संवाद कार्यक्रम में आपातकाल के दौरान मीसा एवं डी.आई.आर. में निरुद्ध रहे राज्य के लोकतंत्र सेनानियों एवं दिवंगत लोकतंत्र सेनानियों की पत्नी अथवा पति को संबंधित जिलाधिकारियों के माध्यम से ससम्मान आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।
