राष्ट्रीय खेलों में मैदान के भीतर ही नहीं, बल्कि बाहर भी बेटियां जमकर पसीना बहा रही हैं। अपने जुझारूपन का सुबूत दे रही हैं। यह बेटियां वो हैं, जिन्हें राष्ट्रीय खेलों की अहम व्यवस्थाओं में वॉलंटियर बतौर तैनात किया गया है। पूरे प्रदेश में ऐसी 1053 महिला वॉलंटियरों को ड्यूटी पर लगाया गया है। उत्तराखंड में पहली बार कोई ऐसा आयोजन हो रहा है, जिसमें इतनी बड़ी संख्या में महिला वॉलंटियरों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित हो रही है।
उत्तराखंड में 38 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों का आयोजन खेल के अलावा तमाम अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी देश दुनिया को महत्वपूर्ण संदेश दे रहा है। एक हजार से ज्यादा महिला वॉलंटियरों का राष्ट्रीय खेलों से सीधे जुड़ाव महिला सशक्तिकरण की सुंदर तस्वीर बना रहा है। वॉलंटियर बनने के लिए राष्ट्रीय खेल सचिवालय ने तीस हजार से ज्यादा रजिस्ट्रेशन किए थे।
प्रारंभिक परीक्षा और प्रशिक्षण के बाद पूरे प्रदेश में 2451 वॉलंटियरों को व्यवस्थाओं से जोड़ा गया। इनमें से पुरूष वॉलंटियरों की संख्या 1398 है। कुल तैनात वॉलंटियरों में पुरूष वॉलंटियर 57.4 प्रतिशत हैं, जबकि 42.96 प्रतिशत महिला वॉलंटियर ड्यूटी कर रही हैं। यह सारे वॉलंटियर सामान्य हैं, जिन्हें पार्किंग, खिलाड़ियों को लाने-ले जाने, मेडल सेरमेेनी के दौरान सहयोग करने जैसे कार्यों में लगाया गया है। इनके अलावा, नेशनल फेडरेशन स्पोर्ट्स ऑफ इंडिया से संबद्ध विशिष्ट वॉलंटियर भी अपना अलग से योगदान कर रहे हैं। उनकी खेल पृष्ठभूमि को देखते हुए उन्हें खेल गतिविधियों से सीधे जोड़ा गया है।
राष्ट्रीय खेलों से जुड़ना हमारे लिए बड़ी बात
कोटद्वार की रहने वाली मानसी दून विश्वविद्यालय से मीडिया एंड मॉस कम्युनिकेशन की पढ़ाई कर रही है। वह वॉलीबॉल की खिलाड़ी भी हैं। वह कहती है-बहुत कम ऐसे अवसर मिलते हैं। मैं इस अवसर को हाथ से नहीं जाने देना चाहती थी। वॉलंटियर बतौर राष्ट्रीय खेलों का हिस्सा बनी हूं, यह बड़ी बात है। देहरादून की रहने वाली रिदिमा का भी यही कहना है। वह कहती है-इतने बडे़ आयोजन से जुड़कर एक्सपोजर मिलता है। इसके अलावा, अपनी ड्यूटी खत्म करने के बाद वह दूसरे मैच भी देख पा रही है। रिदिमा बॉस्केटबॉल खेलती है। गौचर-चमोली की रहने वाली स्नेहा आर्या कहती है-राष्ट्रीय खेलों के बडे़ आयोेजन में जुड़ना गौरवान्वित करने वाला है।
राष्ट्रीय खेलों में हम बेटियों के जज्बे और हौसले को लगातार देख रहे हैं। विभिन्न खेलों में बेटियों ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया है और मेडल जीते हैं। खेलने के अलावा इस पूरे आयोजन को सफल बनाने में बेटियां अपनी अपनी भूमिकाओं में सक्रिय योगदान कर रही हैं। तमाम व्यवस्थाओं में वह कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर सहयोग कर रही हैं, यह सराहनीय है।
