सरकारी स्कूलों में फर्नीचर, उपकरण के साथ खेल अवस्थापना सुविधा से जोड़ने हेतु जिला प्रशासन निंरतर प्रयासरत् है। वहीं इस डीएम के इस महत्वकाशी प्राजेक्ट को हुडको एवं ओएनजीसी का सहयोग मिला है, जिसके लिए ओएनजीसी ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए सीएसआर फंड में 1.5 करोड़ की धनराशि देने की स्वीकृति के साथ ही वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 के लिए धनराशि जारी करने की स्वीकृति दी है। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा हुडको को भेजा गया 3 करोड़ का प्रस्ताव भी अंतिम चरण में हैं, हुडको स्कूलों में स्मार्ट एलईडी स्क्रीन स्थापित करेगा।

जिलाधिकारी के निर्देशन में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी अभिनव शाह हुडको एवं ओएनजीसी के अधिकारियों के साथ निरंतर समन्वय बनाए हुए हैं, इसका ही परिणाम है कि हुडको एवं ओएनजीसी जैसे संस्थान उत्कर्ष प्राजेक्ट में दिलचस्पी दिखा रहे हैं जिससे के तहत् स्कूलों के आधुनिकीकरण करने की कवायद तेज हो गई है। डीएम सविन बसंल ने नैनीताल में डीएम रहते प्रोजेक्ट उत्कर्ष के तहत् स्कूलों के आधुनिकीकरण किया था जिसे सम्पूर्ण राज्य में सराहा गया। अब देहरादून जनपद भी इसी राह में आगे बढ रहा है, जल्द ही जिले के सरकारी स्कूलों में नई व्यवस्था देखने को मिलेगी।
