देहरादून: मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की घोषणा पर अमल करते हुए शासन ने प्रदेश के जल और सीवर उपभोक्ताओं को बड़ी राहत दी है। जल और सीवर के अवशेष देयकों के एकमुश्त भुगतान पर सम्पूर्ण सरचार्ज माफी की अवधि को अगले वर्ष 31 मार्च, 25 तक बढ़ा दिया गया है।

मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने आम उपभोक्ताओं को राहत देने के लिए बीते नवंबर माह में जल और सीवर के अवशेष देयकों का 31 दिसंबर तक एकमुश्त भुगतान किए जाने पर विलंब शुल्क की धनराशि को शत प्रतिशत माफ करने की घोषणा की थी।

बड़ी संख्या में उपभोक्ताओं ने इसका लाभ उठाया है। अब मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर पुनः जल व सीवर माफी के अवशेष देयकों के एकमुश्त भुगतान करने की दशा में विलंब शुल्क की शत प्रतिशत माफी की अवधि को अगले वर्ष 31 मार्च 25 तक बढ़ा दिया गया है।
