देहरादून: जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने अवगत कराया है कि शहर क्षेत्र के प्रमुख चौराहों पर आये दिन प्रदर्शन,जुलूस, शोभायात्रा, रैली, आदि का आयोजन किया जाता है, जिस कारण शहर के प्रमुख चौराहों पर जाम की स्थिति बनी रहती है, जिसका प्रभाव सबसे अधिक प्रमुख मार्गों एवं चौराहों के आस-पास के यातायात पर पड़ता है, जिसके कारण चौराहों के चारों ओर का मार्ग पूर्णतः अवरूद्ध हो जाता है।
जिलाधिकारी एवं वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से विस्तृत मंथन के उपरान्त शहर में वर्षों से चली आ रही समस्या को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जन मानस के हित में शहर के प्रमुख 6 चौराहों पर नई व्यवस्था बनाई गई,जिसके तहत् प्रमुख स्थलों, मार्गाे पर इस प्रकार के धरना प्रदर्शन, जुलूस, शोभायात्रा, रैली आदि विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के संचालन होने से आवश्यक सेवाओं, यातायात के बाधित होने से जन सामान्य में असन्तोष परिलक्षित हो रहा है, जिस पर रोक लगाने हेतु निर्णय लिया गया है।
जिलाधिकारी ने आमजनमानस की सुगमता एवं व्यापक जनहित के दृष्टिगत घण्टाघर, गांधी पार्क, एस्लेहॉल चौक, दर्शन लाल चौक, तहसील चौक, बुद्धा चौक जैसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यस्ततम् स्थानों पर धरना प्रदर्शन / जुलूस / शोभायात्रा, रैली आदि को प्रतिबन्धित करने के आदेश जारी किए।
विभिन्न संगठनों / दलों द्वारा सचिवालय कूच किये जाने हेतु जुलूस / जनसमूह परेड ग्राउण्ड परिसर के बाहर निकट ढुंगा हाउस एकत्रित होने के पश्चात् कनक चौक होते हुए पैसिफिक तिराहा से आगे बढ़ेगा एवं आयकर तिराहे पर जाएगा।
परेड ग्राउण्ड से राजभवन / सी०एम० आवास कूच किये जाने हेतु जनसमूह को पैसिफिक तिराहे पर ही रोका जाएगा। पारम्परिक शोभा यात्राओं / धार्मिक जुसूसों हेतु विशेष परिस्थितियों में समय, मार्ग व संख्या के निर्धारण करने हेतु जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस / यातायात प्रशासन के साथ बैठक के उपरान्त कार्ययोजना तैयार कर क्रियान्वित की जायेगी।
