देहरादून: प्रदेशवासियों को अब शीतकाल में भी निर्बाध बिजली मिलेगी। केंद्र सरकार ने उत्तराखंड को आवंटित अतिरिक्त बिजली कोटे में 180 मेगावाट की वृद्धि कर इसकी समयावधि को भी 30 जून 2025 तक के लिए बढ़ा दिया है। विगत 26 सितंबर को केंद्र की ओर से 300 मेगावाट अतिरिक्त बिजली 31 मार्च 2025 तक के लिए उत्तराखंड को आवंटित की गई थी। इस प्रकार अब कुल 480 मेगावाट अतिरिक्त बिजली केंद्रीय पूल से उत्तराखंड को मिलेगी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इसके लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर का आभार प्रकट किया है।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने प्रदेश को बिजली संकट से निजात दिलाने के लिए केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर से मुलाकात कर केंद्रीय पूल से उत्तराखंड को अतिरिक्त बिजली आवंटित करने का अनुरोध किया था। मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय मंत्री को बताया कि राज्य में बिजली की मांग और उपलब्धता के बीच का अंतर लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। बिजली उत्पादन बढ़ाने को राज्य सरकार सौर ऊर्जा, हाइड्रो पावर और कोयले से बिजली उत्पादन के लिए दीर्घकालिक योजना पर काम कर रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी की प्रभावी पैरवी पर केंद्र ने उत्तराखंड के लिए अतिरिक्त बिजली का कोटा बढ़ा दिया है। शीतकाल में बर्फबारी और अन्य कारणों से जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं के उत्पादन में गिरावट आने से राज्य में कई बार बिजली सप्लाई पर असर पड़ता है। अब केंद्रीय पूल से मिलने वाले अतिरिक्त कोटे में वृद्धि से उपभोक्ताओं को शीतकाल में भी निर्बाध बिजली मिलेगी।
उत्तराखंड को केंद्रीय पूल से 480 मेगावाट अतिरिक्त बिजली स्वीकृत करने पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी एवं केंद्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर जी का आभार। केंद्रीय पूल से 480 मेगावाट बिजली मिलने से अब प्रदेशवासियों को शीतकाल में भी बिजली निर्बाध मिलती रहेगी।
