पौड़ी: पंचायत चुनाव में एक बार फिर महेन्द्र सिंह राणा ने अपने आप को राजनीतिक खिलाड़ी साबित कर दिया। 09 कुल्हाड़ से जिला पंचायत सीट पर जीत दर्ज करने के साथ-साथ द्वारीखाल और कल्जीखाल ब्लॉकों में अपनी टीम को प्रमुख, ज्येष्ठ उप प्रमुख और कनिष्ठ उप प्रमुख पदों पर विजयी बनाकर उन्होंने साबित कर दिया कि वे एक आलराउंडर खिलाड़ी हैं, जो हर मोर्चे पर जीत हासिल करने की क्षमता रखते हैं।
चाहे रणनीति बनाना हो, टीम को एकजुट रखना हो या अंतिम क्षणों में बाज़ी पलटनी हो—महेंद्र सिंह राणा हर भूमिका में निपुण साबित हुए हैं। पंचायत चुनाव में खुद की जीत के साथ-साथ पूरी टीम को विजयश्री दिलाना इस बात का प्रमाण है कि वे केवल नेतृत्व ही नहीं करते, बल्कि मैदान में उतरकर अपनी टीम के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर संघर्ष भी करते हैं।चुनावी नतीजों ने साफ कर दिया है कि निवर्तमान ब्लॉक प्रमुख महेन्द्र सिंह राणा का राजनीतिक वर्चस्व दोनों ब्लॉकों में बरकार है।
द्वारीखाल ब्लॉक में राणा ने अपनी धर्मपत्नी बीना राणा को निर्विरोध क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य बनवाकर प्रमुख पद पर जीत दिलाई। साथ ही ज्येष्ठ उप प्रमुख पद पर नीलम नैथानी और कनिष्ठ उप प्रमुख पद पर कौशल्या देवी को भी जीत दिलाने में अहम भूमिका रही।
कल्जीखाल ब्लॉक में भी राणा की रणनीति कारगर रही। प्रमुख पद पर गीता देवी, ज्येष्ठ उप प्रमुख पद पर संजय पटवाल और कनिष्ठ उप प्रमुख पद पर दीपक असवाल को विजयश्री दिलाई।
बीना राणा के प्रमुख पद पर निर्वाचित होते ही द्वारीखाल में फूल-मालाओं, वाद्य यंत्रों और चेलूसैंण बाजार में रोड शो के साथ जीत का जश्न मनाया गया। कल्जीखाल में गीता देवी की जीत के बाद कार्यकर्ताओं ने फूल बरसाकर स्वागत किया। राणा के आगमन पर प्रमुख, उप प्रमुखों सहित स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों ने उनका सम्मान किया।
अपने संबोधन में गीता देवी ने कहा—
“हमारी पूरी टीम की जीत का श्रेय महेन्द्र राणा जी को जाता है। उन्हीं की दूरदर्शी सोच और मेहनत से हम आज इस पद पर हैं। हम हृदय से उनका धन्यवाद करते हैं।”
