खेल मंत्री ने अल्मोड़ा में किया योगासन प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ…

अल्मोड़ा: खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने अल्मोड़ा में योगासन प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ करते हुए कहा कि देशभर से आए खिलाड़ियों को अल्मोड़ा की सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक धरोहरों से जरूर परिचित कराया जाए। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने शुक्रवार को योगासन प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में उत्तराखंड को जीत का प्रबल दावेदार माना जा रहा है।

अल्मोड़ा के हेमवती नंदन बहुगुणा स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम में खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि यहां का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर जागेश्वर धाम जहां प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी भी गए थे, सभी खिलाड़ियों को वहां जाना चाहिए। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि हर दिन किसी न किसी टीम को अधिकारी इस मंदिर के दर्शन कराएं।

साथ ही उन्होंने खिलाड़ियों से गोल्ज्यू देवता के मंदिर के दर्शन करने की अपील भी की। खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि अल्मोड़ा में योगासन की प्रतियोगिता होना सांस्कृतिक नगरी के लिए गौरव की बात है। खेल मंत्री का कहना था कि उत्तराखंड योगासन की जन्म भूमि है इसलिए हम अपने प्रदेश की टीम से योगासन में कुछ अतिरिक्त अपेक्षाएं रखते हैं।खेल मंत्री ने बहुत कम समय के नोटिस पर योगासन का शानदार आयोजन करने के लिए जिलाधिकारी आलोक कुमार पांडे की पीठ थपथपाई।

योगासन प्रतियोगिता 31 जनवरी से 4 फरवरी तक चलेगी, जिसमें 22 राज्यों के 171 खिलाड़ी हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। प्रतियोगिता पांच श्रेणियों में आयोजित की जाएगी जिसमें ट्रेडिशनल योगासन, आर्टिस्टिक योगासन सिंगल, आर्टिस्टिक पेयर, रिदमिक पेयर और आर्टिस्टिक ग्रुप शामिल हैं। इन सभी श्रेणियों में कुल 66 पदक दिए जाएंगे, जिसमें 22 स्वर्ण, 22 रजत और 22 कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं।

इस अवसर पर विधायक मनोज तिवारी, मेयर अजय वर्मा, रघुनाथ सिंह चौहान,भाजपा,जिला अध्यक्ष रमेश बहुगुणा,महामंत्री धर्मेन्द्र बिष्ट, पूर्व जिला अध्यक्ष रवि रौतेला, गणेश जलाल, अशोक जलाल, ललित तिवारी, आदि मौजूद रहे।
