उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में हल्की बारिश और ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में बर्फबारी होने की संभावना है। निचले इलाकों में ओलावृष्टि हो सकती है। 27 और 28 फरवरी को प्रदेश के ज्यादातर क्षेत्रों में गरज-चमक के साथ ओलावृष्टि को लेकर येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। उत्तराखंड में पिछले दिनों हुई बारिश और बर्फबारी के बाद मौसम शुष्क बना हुआ है। चटक धूप खिलने के कारण दिन के समय तापमान में बढ़ोतरी हो रही है। मंगलवार को देहरादून में सुबह से ही बादलों की आंखमिचौली चलती रही।
बद्रीनाथ और हेमकुंड साहिब सहित अन्य ऊंची चोटियों पर हल्का हिमपात होने से तापमान में गिरावट आई है। हरिद्वार और उधम सिंह नगर सहित आसपास के मैदानी इलाकों में भी मंगलवार को दिन भर धूप खिली रही।
मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के अनुसार आज उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग, टिहरी, देहरादून, पौड़ी, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर और अल्मोड़ा में बारिश की संभावना है। इन सभी जिलों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश हो सकती है, जबकि चंपावत, नैनीताल, उधम सिंह नगर और हरिद्वार में मौसम शुष्क बना रहेगा।
