रुद्रप्रयाग: ऊर्जा संरक्षण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत ऊर्जा संरक्षण सप्ताह एवं ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार (14 दिसंबर) को अटल उत्कृष्ट राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज रुद्रप्रयाग में ऊर्जा संरक्षण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जनपद स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान पाने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया।
मुख्य विकास अधिकारी डाॅ. जीएस खाती ने ऊर्जा संरक्षण सप्ताह एवं ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस के अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग करते हुए कहा कि ऊर्जा संरक्षण एक बड़ी आवश्यकता है जो हमारे भविष्य की भलाई के लिए आवश्यक है।
यह एक प्रथा है कि सभी को अपनी धरती के भविष्य को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए इसमें शामिल होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस मनाने का एजेंडा ऊर्जा और संसाधन संरक्षण के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। उन्होंने छात्र-छात्राओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि ऊर्जा के संरक्षण का अर्थ है ऊर्जा का अंधाधुंध दुरुपयोग करने के बजाय बुद्धिमानी से उसका उपयोग किया जाए।
ऊर्जा संरक्षण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत ऊर्जा संरक्षण सप्ताह एवं ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस के अवसर पर निबंध व चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया था। निबंध प्रतियोगिता के सीनियर वर्ग में प्रथम स्थान राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज ल्वारा की 12वीं की छात्रा करीना जबकि जूनियर वर्ग में राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज रुद्रप्रयाग की अक्षिता ने हासिल किया।
इसी तरह चित्रकला के सीनियर वर्ग में राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज रुद्रप्रयाग की गुंजन ने जबकि जूनियर वर्ग में हिमालयन मोंटेसरी इंटर कॉलेज जखोली की ज्योत्सना ने प्राप्त किया। प्रथम स्थान हासिल करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को 02 हजार तथा द्वितीय स्थान हासिल करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को 1500 का नगद पुरस्कार दिया गया। इसके अलावा उक्त आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में तीसरे स्थान पर रहे छात्र-छात्राओं को भी 01 हजार रुपए की नगद धनराशि से पुरस्कृत किया गया। वहीं स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों की प्रस्तुति भी दी गई।
इस अवसर पर परियोजना अधिकारी उरेड़ा राहुल पंत, प्रधानाचार्य राजकीय इंटर काॅलेज रुद्रप्रयाग आरएस भदौरिया, नरेश जमलोकी, बीए जेठुड़ी, शशि प्रसाद पुरोहित, सुबोध गैराला आदि सहित अन्य व बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।
