बीते शनिवार को हेली एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से उत्तरकाशी के जोशियाडा हेलीपैड से स्थानीय धनारी क्षेत्र निवासी एक गर्भवती महिला को हाईरिस्क डिलीवरी केस के चलते एम्स,ऋषिकेश लाया गया। प्रसूति विभाग की विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सक डॉ. ओम कुमारी ने बताया कि उक्त क्षेत्र में महिला को दी जाने वाली शल्य चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं थी, लिहाजा उन्हें एम्स के लिए रेफरल किया गया। हेली एंबुलेंस में प्रसूति विभाग की डॉ. ओम कुमारी व ट्रॉमा एसएनओ अखिलेश उनियाल टीम के आब्जर्वेशन में एम्स पहुंचाया गया।

इस अवसर पर एम्स की हेली एंबुलेंस सेवा के नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. मधुर उनियाल ने बताया कि एम्स द्वारा संचालित राज्य सरकार द्वारा समर्थित यह हेली इमरजेंसी सेवा गंभीरतम मरीजों को तत्काल चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के लिए पूरी तरह से निशुल्क है।

वरिष्ठ नर्सिंग अधिकारी अखिलेश उनियाल ने बताया कि इस सेवा का उपयोग दुर्घटना में गंभीररूप से घायल अथवा अत्यधिक बीमार मरीज कर सकते हैं। जिन्हें जिला चिकित्सालय-राजकीय चिकित्सालयों के माध्यम से हायर सेंटर के लिए रेफरल किया जाएगा, ऐसे मरीज प्रशासन के सहयोग से हेली एंबुलेंस का लाभ प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। इस हेली एंबुलेंस सेवा को सूबे के सभी 13 जिलों के आपदा प्रबंधन कार्यालयों के माध्यम से एम्स के हेली एंबुलेंस कंट्रोल रूम जोड़ा गया है।

गौरतलब है कि एम्स, ऋषिकेश के द्वारा संजीवनी हेली इमरजेंसी मेडिकल सर्विस, (हेम्स) के माध्यम से उत्तराखंड के सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों से गंभीर मरीजों को तत्काल चिकित्सा सहायता मुहैया कराने के उद्देश्य से बीते 29 अक्टूबर-2024 को भगवान धन्वंतरी दिवस के अवसर पर देश के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा इस सेवा का वर्चुअल माध्यम से विधिवत शुभारंभ किया गया था, एम्स परिसर में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में सूबे के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी,पूर्व सीएम एवं हरिद्वार सांसद त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत सहित कई हस्तियों ने प्रमुखता से शिरकत की थी।
