महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास विभाग की बाल विकास परियोजना कार्यालय बेलनी में बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी शैली प्रजापति द्वारा आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों को मुख्यमंत्री एकल महिला स्वरोजगार योजना के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान की गई।
इस अवसर पर बताया गया कि योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य उत्तराखंड की एकल महिलाओं (जैसे विधवा, तलाकशुदा, परित्यक्ता, अपराध या एसिड हमले की पीड़ित) को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करके उन्हें स्वरोजगार से जोड़कर आत्मनिर्भर बनाना है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत पात्र लाभार्थी को उत्तराखंड का स्थायी निवासी होना चाहिए, उसकी आयु सीमा 21 से 50 वर्ष होनी चाहिए तथा उसकी वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय अधिकतम ₹ 72,000 से अधिक की नहीं होनी चाहिए।
उक्त योजना के तहत आवेदक महिला को अधिकतम ₹ 2 लाख तक के प्रोजेक्ट के लिए सहायता दी जाएगी तथा इसमें सरकार 75% तक की सब्सिडी प्रदान करेगी, जो अधिकतम ₹ 1.5 लाख हो सकती है, शेष 25% लाभार्थी को स्वयं जोड़नी होगी। इसके अतिरिक्त आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्त्रियों को मातृ वंदना की आई डी लॉगिन करके लाभार्थियों का फॉर्म भरना भी सिखाया गया।
