मुनिकीरेती थाना पुलिस के मुताबिक थाने के सीनियर सब इंस्पेक्टर योगेश पांडे और तपोवन चौकी प्रभारी प्रदीप रावत को खबरी ने सूचना दी की होटल तत्सत में बिना लाइसेंस के पर्यटकों को शराब पिलाई जा रही है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने अचानक होटल में छापेमारी की। इस दौरान होटल का संचालक अभी निवासी सूरत गुजरात पर्यटकों को अवैध रूप से शराब पिलाता हुआ पकड़ा गया। होटल में पर्यटकों ने भी संचालक के द्वारा शराब उपलब्ध कराए जाने की पुष्टि की। इंस्पेक्टर रितेश शाह ने बताया कि बिना लाइसेंस के शराब पिलाई जाने पर पुलिस ने होटल संचालक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। उसके खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर जुर्माना वसूल करने की कार्रवाई भी की है। होटल से पुलिस ने दो पेटी शराब भी पकड़ी है। पुलिस ने होटल संचालकों से अवैध रूप से होटल में पर्यटकों को शराब नहीं पिलाने की अपील की है। ज्ञात होगी होटल में अवैध रूप से शराब पिलाने का यह पहला मामला नहीं है। पहले भी कई बार होटल संचालक अवैध रूप से पर्यटकों को शराब पिलाते हुए पकड़े गए हैं। पुलिस का दावा है कि पर्यटक सीजन शुरू होने के बाद पुलिस अब यह कार्रवाई लगातार जारी रखेगी।
