देहरादून: उत्तराखंड सरकार ने राज्य में चिकित्सा सेवा की गुणवत्ता को बेहतर बनाने और आम जनता की स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एक बड़ा और ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाया है। अब प्रदेश के किसी भी चिकित्सक, चाहे वह सरकारी सेवा में हो या निजी क्षेत्र में कार्यरत बिना पंजीकरण या नवीनीकरण के प्रैक्टिस नहीं कर सकेगा।

चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग ने इस संबंध में एक सख्त आदेश जारी किया है। सभी जनपदों के मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारियों (CMO) को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे अपने-अपने जिलों में कार्यरत सभी डॉक्टरों की सूची तैयार करें और यह सुनिश्चित करें कि कोई भी बिना पंजीकरण प्रैक्टिस न कर रहा हो। जिन डॉक्टरों ने अब तक नवीनीकरण नहीं कराया है उनके विरुद्ध कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
