उत्तराखंड के पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री रहे उत्तराखंड क्रांति दल के वरिष्ठ नेता दिवाकर भट्ट का निधन हो गया। लंबी बिमारी के बाद उन्होंने हरिद्वार में अपने आवास पर शाम 4.30 बजे अंतिम सांस ली। वे पिछले कुछ दिनों से देहरादून के इंद्रेश अस्पताल में भर्ती थे 26 नवंबर को हरिद्वार के खड़खड़ी श्मशान घाट पर उनका अंतिम संस्कार होगा
राज्य आंदोलन के दौरान सबसे आक्रामक और समर्पित नेताओं में कहे जाने वाले उत्तराखंड क्रांति दल के पूर्व केंद्रीय अध्यक्ष फील्ड मार्शल दिवाकर भट्ट का उनके निवास पर निधन हो गया उन्होंने हरिद्वार के तरुण हिमालय स्थित निवास पर अंतिम सांस ली। उनके निधन के बाद समर्थकों में शोक में लहर दौड़ गई धीरे-धीरे उनके घर पर लोगों की भीड़ जमा होने शुरू हो गई है दिवंगत दिवाकर भट्ट के बेटे ललित भट्ट ने उनके देहांत की पुष्टि की है।
